Chapter 2

Y/N pov

I was upstairs in my room, playing with my toys and it was 8:00 at night, I was a little nervous about the phone ringing 3 times and it's been an hour and there wasn't another call, so I thought it was safe to go downstairs now. I turned on the TV to put on Jurassic Park to relax. Then I went to the kitchen to get a snack, I pulled out a bag of chips and a can of Coke from the fridge, I sat back down and watched the movie. Then the phone rang again, I gasped in fear and stared at the phone as it was ringing, I didn't have a choice but to answer it. I walked over to the phone and picked it up and placed it to my ear.

Y/N: Hello? Hello?

I said 'hello' but there was no answer so I set it back on the dialer, and walked back to the couch but then the phone rang again! This time I was getting scared, I picked it up again and answered.

Y/N: Hello?

Male voice: Hello.

I gasped and hung up, the voice sounded very scary! Then the phone rang again, I couldn't take it anymore so I unplugged it from the wall! I sighed in relief and I thought it was all over! I sat on the couch to watch my movie and eat my snack. Then I went upstairs to grab some of my toys to play with while I'm downstairs, then I heard the phone ring again!

Y/N mind: I thought I unplugged it!

I ran downstairs to see the phone plugged in and the TV was off! Now I was getting really scared! Then I heard a crash from outside the backyard, I walked over to the window and peaked over the blinds to see that my swings from outside were moving and it wasn't windy! Then the doorknob started to shake and the door opened and it was my mommy and daddy!

Mom: Honey, we're home!

I ran to them and hugged them both and I was crying!

Dad: Son, what's wrong? What happened?

If I told them about the phone calls and I answered it, I'll get in trouble and I don't want to, so I lied.

Y/N: I heard a noise outside and I got scared!

My dad grabbed a flashlight, opened the back door and looked around. Then he closed the door and locked it.

Dad: There was nothing out there. It was probably a raccoon or something.

Mom: There's nothing to be afraid of, sweetie. Why don't you go get ready for bed, okay? We'll be up to tuck you in.

Y/N: Okay.

I went upstairs to my room to put on my pajamas and I saw that my door was open, and I thought I closed it when I went back downstairs.

Y/N mind: What is going on?!
