It was the day after the new trainers got their pokemon and Hop and Victor already had their battle the day prior. The group were now awake and about to head out when Gloria spoke up.
Gloria:Y/n wait!
Y/n:What's up?
Gloria:Please. Have a battle with me and Scorbunny!
Y/n thinks about and sees this as a good practice for her.
Y/n:OK let's go.
The two trainers stand at opposite sides of the battlefield. Leon is there acting as referee.
Leon:This will be a 1 on 1 battle and the battle will end when one sides pokemon is unable to battle. Trainers send out your pokemon.
Gloria/Y/n:Scorbunny/Ronaldo go!
Both pokemon are sent and Gloria and Scorbunny look at Ronlado in awe as Gloria gets her pokedex out to check it out.
Pokedex: Cinderace the Striker pokemon, a fire type and the evolved form of Raboot and final evolved of Scorbunny.It juggles a pebble with its feet, turning it into a burning soccer ball. Its shots strike opponents hard and leave them scorched
Gloria:Final evolved form?!
Y/n:Yeah I faced the champion so my pokemon are champion level.
Gloria is now scared but she goes on with the battle.
Gloria:Use quick attack and double kick.
Scorbunny sends barrage of kicks and dashes as Ronlado just stands their, taunting Scorbunny as the little rabbit is getting flustered.
Y/n:Let's go use electro ball!
Ronaldo kicks his pebbles up and the small rock is consumed by electricity as he blasts it towards Scorbunny. The little rabbit uses a last minute quick attack to avoid the hit.
Gloria:Good job Scorbunny!
Y/n:Do you think that's it?
Gloria:Huh?
She is confused as the electro ball hits the ground but then is ricocheted off the ground amd knocks out Scorbunny.
Gloria:What?!
Y/n:I trained all of my pokemkn to make sure they hit their targets.
Gloria returns her pokemon and begins to tear up. That was when Y/n walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.
Y/n:Hey. Its OK to lose. That just means you have to work harder next time.
Gloria gives a small smile which forces a blush out of Y/n.
Gloria:Thanks Y/n.
Y/n:Your welcome.
