On October 24, a media outlet reported that BLACKPINK's Faye has three siblings in the entertainment industry, speculated to be actor Kang Ahn, actress Kang Dan Bi, and soloist ASTRA based on details given.
ASTRA and Kang Dan Bi revealed that they were twins in December of last year, shortly after ASTRA's debut, but the two remained mellow on the possibility of having other siblings. Faye and Kang Ahn, on the other hand, have not mentioned having any siblings.
Insiders say that the four did not intentionally try to hide that they are related but have been careful when it comes to mentioning their family lives.
Kang Ahn's agency JYP Entertainment, BLACKPINK's agency YG Entertainment, Kang Dan Bi's agency KeyEast Entertainment, and ASTRA's agency SM Entertainment have yet to release statements.
