It's me~

I promised myself I'd practice my hangul. I'm proud!!

I spent some more time practicing tonight. My ankle hurts, but my legs are getting stronger. I've been relying on the girls, but the competition is getting tougher and tougher. People are turning on each other because everything keeps getting pushed back. There are people who have been here for so long they're giving up hope. It hasn't been that long for me, so I'm trusting myself. I'm holding on to my dream...?

The senior trainees were looking at me today. I guess they think we're supposed to be rivals??? Then one of them offered their food to me. Normally they'd just throw it away, but it's been like this ever since the scale showed I went up. I get it...but it hurts...so I didn't eat much today. Less than usual.

I don't know why I wrote that down when I'm trying not to to think about it. I just need to focus on my voice control. Our coach said I hit the notes, but some of it gets lost because of my breathing. Jennie's really good at that, so I was wondering if I should go to her for help. I think I'm writing this now to give myself the courage to do it.

Sometimes I think my parents would go crazy if they heard about all of this. I imagine my auntie screaming from Auckland. I miss Ahn... Chanmi... Danbi... grandma... grandpa.

I kind of wish I was Santa so I could fly in the night and hide us on an island forever...but I'm still hopeful!!!
