Percy, Annabeth,Grover,Thalia and Nico all meet up on a beach. Percy teaches Nico how to surf and Annabeth and Thalia sat and watched while Grover decided to cook. Nico fell into the water and didn't come back up. Percy got nervous and dived under a wave.
Percy searched for Nico until he saw him drifting slowly down to the bottom of the sea. Percy swam faster and faster try to catch him but he vanished. He spun around. How do people just disappear he thought.
Suddenly a he was swamped with fear. He felt like he drowning. He thrashed about not sure what was happening. Suddenly a figure appeared above him swimming deeper and deeper. Then he blacked out.
Later when he woke up he found out that Thalia had saved him. They sat in the infirmary talk until she said " So your afraid of drowning." He looked dumbfounded.
"How you know." He replied. Only three other people knew about it and Thalia wasn't one of them. She smiled "I just knew just like knew about my fear. She laughed."Besides I wouldn't really won't to tell anyone." They both started laughing. After there laughing fit Percy said " Imagine if Nico was afraid of the dark of something that would just make me laugh." Little did they know that Nico was standing in the shadows thinking about how Percy saved him and how true Percy actual was. Which made him fell the happiest he had felt for a while.
