My favorite Idol || Hyunjin

Are You Sure?

Y/N wakes up to her phone vibrating. Her social media was being spammed more than usual. A familiar name pops up in her notifications. Hyunjin.

Hyunjin : hey, Y/N, I was wondering if you'd like to come to lunch at xxxxx,Felix is coming as well.

Y/N sits up in her bed. The idea was tempting, but wasn't as exciting as she would think. She wanted to have time with Hyunjin, alone. Without Felix, people would make more rumors about the two.

Y/N : sorry, I can't today

Hyunjin's notification pops up again,

Hyunjin : that's okay, we're going at 1 if you change your mind

Even though Y/N probably wouldn't change her mind, she replies with a "okay" and closes her phone. Y/N slumps back into her pillow and yawns. Even though she had slept when she returned home the night before, she slept terribly.

The soft pillowcase rubbed against her cheek, it reminded her of how Hyunjin had backstage before she fell asleep on his shoulder.

Maybe Y/N would go to lunch, but she had little motivation to get ready. She wanted to be with Hyunjin and be able to have a normal friendship again.

Y/N thinks of an outfit to wear. If she was going to go, she would have to wear something nice, since there would be Felix and Hyunjin fans.

Y/N would show up unannounced, if she did go. She wasn't able to figure out what Hyunjin was wearing so she thinks of the most common style he would wear and finds an outfit.

Cameras flash outside of the restaurant. Hyunjin looks up, the cameras shouldn't be flashing now that he was inside with Felix. Familiar eyes step through the restaurant doorway, waving at the cameramen.

"Hello, Hyunjin and Felix," Y/N seats herself at the table, "I decided to accept the offer."

Y/N sat beside Hyunjin and smiles. "Hey," Felix says, "are you feeling better today?"

"Actually, I am," Y/N lies, she had slept horribly and could barely stay asleep, "it was a refreshing sleep after yesterday."

Hyunjin smiles and looks at Y/N, "it's good you slept, order what you want since you recently woke up, you probably didn't eat."

"Oh, are you sure?" Y/N asks.

Y/N didn't want to raise the bill much more than it had already been. "Of course, Y/N, it's on me today," Felix smiles.

Felix hoped Y/N would forgive him soon. He hoped she would realize everything would be back to normal. It wouldn't take too long until Hyunjin's stability would return to him. If only Y/N, could see it.

Y/N was everything to Hyunjin. It meant a lot to see Y/N and Felix getting along, once again. The two had an original friendship, Y/N was from Australia too. She had been best friends with Felix since birth but sadly moved when she was about five. Her parents convinced Felix's to move to Korea shortly after they had moved, his parents agreed to the idea.

"I'll be back," Felix announces and heads to the restroom.

Hyunjin turns towards Y/N. "Y/N," Hyunjin continues, "do you want to try again?"

"Are you sure?" Y/N asks.

"Last night, I realized how much happier I am when I'm with you," Hyunjin explains his thoughts, "I feel safer and I feel like you're what I need."

Y/N shifts in her seat and pursed her lips. "Hyunjin, I don't want to hurt your career, so are you really sure?" Y/N asks one more time.

The last thing that Y/N wanted was for Hyunjin's fall to be all over her hands. She would always support him and his career, but if she was the reason he lost his career, she wouldn't ever forgive herself.

"I'm sure about it, if you are," Hyunjin replies. He takes Y/N's hand into hers.

"I'm sure I'd love that," Y/N smiles and holds his hand.

More camera flickers appear as people realize the gesture between Hyunjin and Y/N.

The short time period without Hyunjin in Y/N's life was finally over. She had him back, hopefully for good this time. Y/N had overreacted beforehand, she knew she would have him back eventually but she still cried about it for hours.

Sure, a few weeks without your favorite person hurts, but Y/N was able to watch Hyunjin focus on himself during that time. He looked a lot happier and less exhausted after every practice. Y/N was more than proud of Hyunjin, no words would explain her thoughts.

Felix steps out of the bathroom as Hyunjin takes his hand away. Hyunjin wasn't ready to tell Felix about the recent occurrence between him and Y/N.

"So, did you pick something?" Felix asks.

"Yeah, actually I did," Y/N shows Felix the menu with her finger pointing at the dish she had wanted to try.

Felix smiles and waits for the order. "That's a really good dish, I have it a lot when I bring Hyunjin here."

Hyunjin smiles too and nods his head. "Sometimes he orders two of them if we don't have performances that week," Hyunjin laughs.
