Author's Note:

[Okay so this is more awkward because Wattpad works differently from ao3 so like I have more to say, bare with me please.

Hiatus is over! I live...somehow.

I have gone through a personalize Hell. It might show through how this was written honestly.
Enough about me though, you guys get enough shocking author notes and I don't want to make anyone worry lmfao

Also, to those that didn't see my message on my profile:

When I crossposted from ao3 some important formatting was lost, I apologize to Wattpad only readers for this. I did not mean to give you a lesser version. Also I don't have a beta reader and it SHOWS. I have tons of errors and some are hilarious I'm sorry LOL. I will eventually fix this, but some errors have funny comments and I don't wanna lose em so I may just keep the errors.

Anyway...

TRIGGER WARNING: this contains extremely heavy topics, in order to not spoil I won't say. If you know Nagito's character well...then you may already know what this chapter is about.]

What happened afterwards was all a blur that Makoto can't quite process properly.

Makoto's scream was heard by his friends that were nearby and they immediately rushed over to see what was going on.

Only to notice Nagito's unconscious body on the floor.

Makoto was freaking out. Hard. It's like everything around him was simultaneously moving too fast and slow. The friends next to him were doing their best to calm him down while the rest stated they would go call over Tsumiki, they swear she'd be able to help.

His heartbeat was extremely elevated the whole time to the point it felt like his heart was about to just rise up his throat and get vomited out. Not a pleasant feeling.

Eventually Tsumiki arrived and dashed over to Nagito, lifting him up and examining him for any major injuries.

She took a suspiciously long time and despite saying he seemed to be fine she had a look of fear in her eyes that didn't make Makoto feel any better.

With a hushed voice she spoke with Sonia in private and the princess's eyes widened. A serious look draped over her face and she hastily pulled out her phone.

Moments later a limo arrives and Makoto is whisked away to go inside it along with Tsumiki and Nagito.

The rest stayed behind, wishing them luck. Makoto remembers only being able to smile bitterly at that.

I don't think we need more luck than we already have...especially not with the kind I have.

Of course he didn't say this out loud, but it sure was quite the pointless thing to say either way.

He supposes that they just couldn't really think of what to say at the moment. He didn't either. It was like his mind froze over, the only thing he could think about was Nagito being out cold.

Makoto sighs and leans back in his chair, eyes staring at the ceiling. This night didn't go at all like he wanted it to. He would've never guessed they'd end up in Hope's Peak before their vacation ended.

Yet here he is, in the waiting room for the nurse's office.

Footsteps approach, then get louder following the sound of a door opening and shutting. Makoto's eyes shoot over to see Tsumiki walking to him all nervous.
