bakugo's pov
i called deku multiple times. it can't be counted by the fingers. but no fingers is needed to count how many times deku pick up. but from nowhere, in the middle of my despair, he texted me saying, "meet me at the rooftop. you know which". i was so glad to see him finally texting me. but why in the middle of the night though?

it's 23:49 so i sneak out to meet my lover. i just really wish he wasn't planning to break up with me. wait. wrong. half of my heart hopes that he won't. another half says it's for my sanity. my half says keep up the pride and don't even call him. my other half wins with worries and call him. at the rooftop. i climb the ladder and sees deku with his green hair flies towards the wind, levitating.

"i almost thought you're not coming.. you're late."
"late for what?- nvm. Deku i am so sorry for what i said earlier i didn't mean it"
"no.. you're right. I've been a liability in your life."
"no-" he cuts my sentence
"and i did promise to follow whatever you said"
"what are you talking about?"
he stands at the edge of the building smiling. "thank you for being with me kacchan"
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? IT'S DANGEROUS THERE!"

and the clock strikes midnight. starting a new day but also the end of --

deku smiles and tears falls on his face. bakugo walks forward carefully to deku.

"deku.. you're not being funny."
"happy valentines day, katsuki bakugo"

deku leans towards the air and let the gravity pushes him to the ground slowly and gently like carrying an angel.

bakugo runs towards the edge reaching the falling deku.

"NOOOO!!!!"

the angel that's falling is still keeping an eye contact with bakugo even when he hits the ground and the crimson red blood flowing out of the humanely deku.

bakugo is in despair. if he didn't say what he said. if he just being more gentle to deku. if he just run faster towards deku, he might still able to save him. if he did.. deku would still be alive.

not believing what he saw on the ground at the bottom of the building. kacchan screams out loud in frustration and regrets. tears are on his cheek, his vision is blurry by the waters. drops are not visible but it hits deku down below.

the clock striked midnight. started a new day but also the end of --

"hi deku.. nothing much has happened. icyhot says that you won't like it if i gives up in life. so im striving to be a hero that you'll be proud of. uhm.. i visits your mom daily and don't worry, she's in a good hand but the house seems quite and your room, the poster hasn't remove and your mom frequently clean it up so it won't get dirty."

"but i just.." he shed some tears holding the stone with his deceased boyfriend's name carved on it.
"i just hope you're here you know"
his voice is shaking and he's trembling.
"but there's nothing i can do to bring you back.."
he looks straight up to the stone, with his ugly cries.
"But i promise! i will live for the two of us! I'll be a number 1 hero for the two of us!"
