Laughter.

It never stopped.

In his head.

Nezu wanted it to stop.

The pain had left Izuku. He only felt numb now. With hesitance the ghost forced his eyes open, carefully inspecting the room of which he found himself.

There sat in front of him was none other than the Satan rat Nezu. He wore a stern expression today, nothing like his usual putrid fake smile. The office was dark, the air clogged thickly with strong incense mixed with the metallic smell of blood.

It was silent.

Izuku hated it. He didn't know how he got here, but the look of Nezu's beady black eyes staring blankly at nothing was enough to even scare a ghost.

The ghost decided to leave the room out of fear, just as he began to float to the door he noticed something strange...

Nezu's eyes followed his every move.

Izuku wasn't making himself visible right now... how could he see him. 'No that's impossible. I'm just imagining it...' izuku told himself with a deep breath, nothing could hurt him; he was dead after all.

"Izuku Midoriya."

'W-what...' the ghost trembled.

Izuku felt weak.

"It's nice to see you again after such a long time. Don't you think?" Nezu smiled again, his sharp front teeth on full show rather maliciously. He had a strange aura about him, izuku felt very uneasy.

"We'll have a seat. Being dead must be tiring" a creepy giggle circulated the room, his words felt like a stab right to the chest; izuku couldn't even move from both confusion and fear.

"Midoriya let's talk"

Izuku cautiously floated to the seat opposite the rodent, sitting down while never breaking eye contact.

"That wasn't so hard now was it? Let's skip the formalities shall we? After all I don't think our relationship can be called student and teacher anymore can it" Nezu's voice was eerily calm, by now Izuku had also composed himself and decided to play along with Nezu's little game.

'Let's have some fun...'

"You can see me. As you can tell I'm surprised to say the least" izuku finallt spoke, grinning to match the rodent's sadistic personality.

"Black magic. I knew something paranormal was messing with my school... and look how far I've let it go on. I feel like a failure" Nezu's tail started to slowly sway behind him as he spoke.

"You should. This shit hole and it's inhabitants deserve nothing" izuku tried to twist himself into Nezu's mind but for some reason there was a gforcr stopping him from doing so.

"You've certainly messed things up alright. All Might is behind bars because of you, that was quite the stunt you pulled"

Izuku smiled at the influx of compliments "that was fun... but not as much as what I do to Kacchan." Laughter echoed the dark office, Izuku's eyes shining toxic light on the rodent as he listened with purpose.

"Every night I pay dear Kacchan a visit, the poor thing thinks he's going mad" the ghost fake pouted as his transparent cheeks grew in colour by the mere thought.

Nezu hummed, a moment of silence overcoming the two.

"I noticed your body has gone missing" the principal smiled once he got an angry reaction out of izuku.

"It wouldn't have had to be there in the first place if you gave me a proper burial. Something as simple as that could've prevented this whole thing from happening" Izuku's face turned dark, a heavy shadow covering his body.

Nezu tried to keep his cool. It seemed this may have been a bad idea.

"Well Midoriya. I'm sure you can understand that your death was just stupidity that I had no choice but to cover up"

It seemed Nezu had chosen the wrong set of words... Izuku's eyes flashed red as the shadow around him grew darker "stupidity that they should've been fucking punished for" he growled. Nezu flinched, his instincts set alight.

"UA's reputation has always been my top prior-"

"Shut up!" In less than a second, izuku had grabbed a pen and stabbed it straight through Nezu's paw; pinning it to the desk as a resort - their faces dangerously close.

"Reputation, reputation, reputation! That's all you talk about! Was it more important than my life?! I was bullied my whole life and no one cared!"

Nezu held in his cries of pain as Izuku held onto the pen while screaming; a small pool of blood leaking onto the wood and staining the principal's immaculate white fur.

"Izuku... let's- figure something out together!"

The ghost shook with rage and grabbed another pencil stabbed it into Nezu's upper arm "I'm done making deals! Now you're going to suffer through exactly what I did"

Suddenly the door burst open. Midnight, Mic and Snipe rush into the room alarmed by the screams.

However they were confused to see no one.

No Nezu...

"Who did we hear shouting then..." Present Mic questioned with a trembling voice, turning on the light while Midnight walked over to his desk.

"Take a look at this, quickly" the woman gestured to the bloody pens left on the rodent's desk, followed with a couple black wax candles smeared across the wood "what happened?..."

"Welcome to your new bedroom for a whole Nezu!~ ain't it cosy? I'm sure we'll have lots and lots of fun" izuku grinned as he chucked the mutant on the cold cement floor of Aizawa's basement.

"Wow it's annoying for us to come allll the way over here in such a hurry right? I was just gunna kill you in your office... a shame"

Nezu pushed his back against the wall in fear, holding onto the deep puncture wound on his arm to stop the bleeding; tail curled around his waist.

"I don't think Aizawa will mind me using his basement! I'll clean up your blood so don't worry" izuku giggled creepily whole fiddling with some tools the teacher kept in the room for repairs... however Izuku wouldn't be using them to repair anything.

Nezu was surprised at what he heard "Shota is a part of this?" He sounded in disbelief, it made Izuku joyful.

"Yeah right from the start! Cool right?!" Izuku beamed as the sound of metal clanging together made Nezu wince, his eyes widening as the ghost produced a saw and hammer; a crazier look in his eyes.

"Anyways... you shouldn't have made me angry Nezu Tsk"

Undeniable fear consumed Nezu's very being. Izuku was truly a monster. You couldn't outwit him nor could you bribe the spirit, he was unbeatable.

"Now, shall we start with your tail?"
