New Family

Waking up only to see the face of a beautiful woman wasn't what Loen thought the start of the afterlife would be like.

The woman looked exhausted, but she smiled warmly at him nonetheless. She had long, curly midnight black hair and sharp, forest green eyes.

'But... Why does she look so gigantic? Could she be the angel taking me to heaven?!' he thought. 'If so, then why does she look so tired?'

The beautiful woman, noticing one of her twins opened his eyes, smiled wider. "Hello, baby." Her voice was strained, but warm. "Welcome to the world, my sweet miracle."

Loen was, to say the least, confused. 'Baby? Welcome to the world? Miracle? What is this gigantic woman talking about?'

Then it clicked. He's been reborn, and is now a baby. This woman must be his mother.

Suddenly, the door opened to reveal a handsome man with golden amber eyes and snowy white hair. The air around him was dignified, and a smile was gracing his lips.

"Roger!" the woman called her husband with a smile, happy he's finally back.

"Annalise. I came here as fast as I heared the news. Are you feeling well?" The man named Roger asked, trying (and failing) to conceal the happiness in his tone.

Annalise giggled. "I'm perfectly fine. Now come here, I know you're dying to see them."

Roger sighed and made his way towards his wife, a small blush on his cheeks.

Loen stared at the man who is supposed to be his father. And he found that, yes, the man was very attractive as well. 'I must've got some great genes...'

"They're twins... The doctor said it's only one child. That's a miracle." Roger mumbled.

"Right? I'm so happy. This is the best miracle I could ever ask for." The woman said, kissing her children's foreheads.

Loen was absolutely stunned that he now has a twin brother. He felt so happy that he won't be the only child this time around.

Roger nodded, and after a few minutes of comfortable silence asked. "What are we going to name them?"

Annalise closed her eyes, deep in thought. "Mmm... I've got a name!"

"I've got one too."

"Then how about you name the older one and I name the younger?" The ravenette suggested.

"Sounds good." Roger nodded, and caressed the older baby's head. "Ijekiel. His name will be Ijekiel."

"Ijekiel... What a lovely name!" Annalise sighed with a smile. "You-" she looked at the other twin. "-shall be named... Loen."

Loen was glad that his name is still the same, but that wasn't what caught his attention the most.

'Ijekiel? Roger? This man literally looks like Roger Alpheus! Am I in lovely princess?'

The boy couldn't bring himself to think anymore, because of how tired he was. 'Is it because I'm a baby?'

And soon enough, he fell into deep slumber.

It has been almost three years since Loen got reborn as the second child of the Alpheus family, and the twin brother of Ijekiel Alpheus, the male lead of his favorite novel "Lovely Princess".

In the original novel, Ijekiel did not have any blood related siblings, meaning that Loen Alpheus did not exist in Lovely Princess. This was also supported by what his father, Roger Alpheus said when the twins were born about what the doctor informed him.

He did not mind. He actually preferred it this way. He doesn't have any death flags and he's surrounded by his favorite characters. He can also change some of the stuff he didn't like in the original story.

But the thing he was most happy about was his family. His mother was the sweetest woman he's ever met. And although he had the same hair and eye color as his father, his features were closer to his mother's, from the sharp eyes to the curly hair.

His father could seem cold and distant at first, but he was just as loving as his mother. He took care of him and Ijekiel with everything he's got and always buys them stuff he thinks they'd like. His mother often scolds him because of how much he spoiles them. But Loen knew that it was his way of showing love, since he isn't quite good at expressing himself.

And finally, his twin brother, Ijekiel. Most of the time, the younger brother followed his older brother's footsteps, and tries to imitate him. But it was the opposite for the Alpheus twins.

Whenever Loen said he wanted a certain toy, Ijekiel chimes in saying he wants the same one too. When Loen said he hates spinach, Ijekiel said he hates them too. Whenever the two are eating together, Ijekiel tries to copy Loen's manner of eating.

Loen found that super cute, really.

Obviously, just like every pair of siblings ever, the two fought almost everyday about the stupidest of things, but forgot about it in half an hour.

The servants in the household loved their two young masters dearly, and played with them a lot. The twins also helped the servants sometimes with simple tasks out of boredom, and to compete about who does it better.

They both usually do a horrible job, but the servants don't have the heart to tell them. So they just tell them they did well and give them chocolates.

One day, when Annalise was scolding the twins for sneaking into the kitchen at midnight to eat candy, and breaking yet another vase while playing hide and seek, and Roger trying to hold back his laughter, one of the knights entered the room to tell his Lord of some shocking news.

"Your grace! Forgive me for barging in so suddenly, but a noble lady claiming to be your cousin is demanding entry."

Roger raised an eyebrow. "Did she tell you her name? What does she look like?"

"She said her name was Penelope Judith, she had brown hair and she dressed like a noble. She also seems to be pregnant, your grace."

"Penny?" Annalise mumbled.

"Let her in immediately. And lead her to my office." Roger said as he stormed to his office.

"About time...." the younger twin mumbled.

There wasn't much shown about Ijekiel's life in the manhwa, because obviously it's from Athy's pov, so I decided to include a bit of my headcanons about him and Roger here. I also added another oc, his mother!

But seriously, isn't Kiel just too cute?! I can't handle it!! (Lmao I think yall know who's my fav now)
