But today instead of heading straight to the restroom, she opened her phone and played a recording:
Y/f/n: "Y/NNN! MY PRINCESS!"
Y/m/n: "Y/N MY SWEETIE!"

Y/f/n: "Sorry my darling... we can't be there. We have to go."
Y/m/n: "But don't think we forgot your birthday gift. Open up the parcel near your bed. "

She didn't prepare any breakfast today. She decided to eat outside. She went to the café where she worked and ordered a cup of coffee and light snacks.
Manager: "Y/n. Today you are ordering?... Why all of a sudden?"
Y/n: "Oh... Today is my birthday. That's why."
She smiled.
Manager: "Oh! Happy Birthday then. And no need to pay the bill... you can have it for free and take a day off. Accept it as a gift from my side and enjoy your birthday."
Y/n: "Thank you Sir."
She smiled and ate her breakfast. Then after saying thank you once more, she went to her university.
