Part 4. Night out.

(Third person pov)

"Okay let's do this." Billy exclaimed as we got ready to test if he could fly.

You and Freddy stood further back and filmed.

"How do we do this?" Billy asked.
"Just um...like superman it." Freddy answered as he shot his arm up and imitated the takeoff noise.
You laughed a little.
Billy sarcastically made the same noise and weakly raise his arm.

"Oh my god!" You exclaimed while you rushed over to him.
"Obviously you have to jump come on." You pushed your hand on his back making him stand up straight.
"How is any of this obvious!?" Billy exclaimed.

"Okay try to believe that you can fly okay?I read this deep dive into peer-reviewed studies about superpowers and in 6 out of ten belief is the key." Freddy suggested.
"No!" You yelled, you had read that deep dive too but you knew that it was simply a matter of whether you could or can't from your long talks with Clarke.

You hit Billy's back harder and his back straightened. You jumped and shoved his arm upwards like superman. You smacked his stomach inwards and looked at his stance.

"Back straight, arm up, gut in, you have the muscles now, so use em! Jump and take off, if you can fly you will." You exclaimed loudly and imitated the takeoff noise again.

Billy frowned at you and Freddy watched in awe.

"Back straight, arm up, gut in, I believe I can fly." Billy repeated softly under his breath.

He sprinted past you and ran up onto an old car, he jumped off it with no hesitation.

"Woah!" He yelled as he hit the floor hard.

"Ooof..." you hissed at the sight.
"Did you believe?" Freddy asked, still filming.
"Yeah!" Billy exclaimed, clearly annoyed.

You chuckled at the two of them.

"You wanna try invisibility?" Freddy asked.
"How do I do...forget it. You know okay okay okay okay."

Billy stood there and shut his eyes tight and held his breath, he looked like an idiot.

You and Freddy exchanged an evil glance.

"Oh my god it worked!" Freddie yelled.
"Where'd you go?" You asked.
"I'm right here you can't see me?"
"Where?" You and Freddy asked.

Billy laughed excitedly.
"I'm invisible!I'm right here, over here!IM INVISIBLE IM INVISIBLE!"

"Hey!nice outfit dipshit!" Some random guy yelled from across the fence.

You and Freddy broke and let out a small laugh.
Then you both laughed harder and harder.

"We might've been testing invisibility and super-intelligence at the same time." Freddy laughed out.

"I'm going to come over there and beat you!" He pointed at us, as we calmed down our laughing.

As he pointed lighting shot out of his finger tips and electrocuted a lamp post. Freddy grabbed your hand and pulled you back as sparks flew, you both blushed.

You both smiled with open mouths. 
Car alarms started blaring and dogs started barking in the background.

"Oh my god! The lighting emblem!it was staring us right in the face the whole time!" Freddy yelled excitedly.
"Literally!"

We all laughed in excitement.
