Driving down the road through the very rich Neiborhood of South Hampton, nerves fill my body and I begin to second guess myself. Is this even a good idea? A million things could happen by me doing this and the majority of those are bad. The mansion starts to come into view and I push the remaining thoughts I have out of my mind. He has a right to know, He deserves to know. So despite the negative possibilities running through my mind I pull up to the house, making it to the gate before being stopped by the front gate and a person. He walks over.
"Name?" He asks, his voice void bored and void of emotion.
"Um its Everlee Alexander I was here like a month ago with the owner of the house." I state.
They walk away and over to what looks like an intercome. He communicates for a little bit before walking back.
"I'm sorry Miss but He isn't taking any visitors right now." He states when he comes back.
"Well I am not leaving this spot until I speak to Ethan. And trust me when I say he is going to want to speak to me." I reply my frustration beginning to rise.
"Ma'am He isn't exactly in a good mood to be talking to people right now. If I go back and tell him anything it is just going to make that mood worse."
"I don't care as I stated already I have some important information to give to him, now go back to that intercom of yours and tell him I'm not leaving without talking to him." I reply crossing my arms, holding firm in my decision.
He looks at me and hesitantly walks back to the intercom and talks for a minute or so before opening the gate for me so I could go through.
Satisfied I give him a smile before I drive up the drive way and park the car, I get out and walk to the front door. I brush my skirt with my hands, laying it flat and go to knock on the door only to have it swung open by a very angry looking Ethan. The man I met in the bar a few weeks ago didn't even show any type of anger, but I did get a sense he could have a harder exterior.
"What can I do for you Miss Alexander?" He questions a hard expression on his face, his brown eyes hard, His voice frustrated.
"I just wanted to tell you something that I felt would be better to do in person. So you can have a chance to do what you want with the information I give you, you don't have to act like a Dick." I reply my hormones starting to take over.
"And exactly what information do you have to give me?" He asks his eyebrow raising, His attitude not leaving.
"Do you think we could talk somewhere more private?" I ask noticing a few people have started gathering behind him, and while I don't know him all that well I do know he is a private person and the information I have for him he won't want people to know.
"I'm good right here." He says standing his ground.
I roll my eyes "Ethan trust me when I say this is not something you want people to know about or hear." I reply my patience beginning to wear thin.
He stares at me for a few minutes trying to read me. I stare him down raising an eyebrow questioningly letting him know that I am not going to back down. "Fine follow me." He huffs, opening the door slightly so I can walk in. He turns around and as he walks away I watch as his back flexes and relaxes with each step he takes, his navy blue slacks making his butt pop, the long white sleeve button up allowing for me to see his muscles. All eyes are on me as I follow him through his huge house. When he stops I practically run into him stumbling over my own feet.
"I'm sorry." I say when he quickly turns around practically staring daggers at me. His 6'3 frame towers over my smaller 5'5 frame.
"Look, Miss Alexander I understand we may have had a good time a few weeks ago but I don't tolerate people questioning my authority and what I feel is best for me, no matter who they are."
