I met Eri once when she visited with Mirio. She was a small thing with big inquiring eyes. Mirio looked gigantic next to her but he was so gentle and so sweet towards her.

He'd make a great dad. The thought came before I can stop it. I could feel my face heat up, wondering why I thought of that and why it made me heart flutter.

"Why are you blushing so much, star?" Mirio grinned at me, his finger poking my cheek, "Are you thinking when we'd have our own family?" He teased and I puffed my cheeks in reply. "You're cute. Isn't she cute, Eri?"

The small girl looked up at me, "You said she's beautiful."

This made Mirio turn red.

"Has Mirio been talking about me, Eri?" I crouched down, bringing myself eye to eye with the little girl.

She nodded, "I think you are beautiful."

"Isn't she?" Mirio regained his usual self as he crouched down with me. The passing students loudly commented how we looked almost like a small family which made me and Mirio turn red.

Eri and Mirio returned on the day of the festival. Our maid cafe would be open after the presentation of the Class I-A and so, the Class III-A went over to support our young heroes in training.

Mirio guided us through the crowd, with Eri in his arm and his hand on mine.

What am I to be?
What is my calling?
I gave up giving up, I'm ready to go
The future's left unseen
It all depends on me
Put it on the line to follow my dream
Yeah

We looked up at stage, awed at the explosive start and the fact that the four young heroes who fought beside us to rescue Eri were performing with so much energy and fervor.

Tried all my life, I've tried to find
Something that makes me hold on and never let go, oh!

Hero too, I am a hero too
My heart is set (my heart is set) and I won't back down
Hero too, strength doesn't make a hero
True heroes stand up for what they believe
So wait and see, so wait and see!

UA High heard that this performance was for the courses and levels who were affected by the problems that the League of Villains caused. Everyone has been so stressed, they wanted a performance that would make everybody relax and happy.

What do they think of me?
Who do they think I'll be?
I could not care less, I don't wanna know
Am I doing right?
Am I satisfied?
I wanna live my life like it's meant to be
Yeah

Tried all my life, I've tried to find
Something that makes me hold on and never let go, oh!

The audience were in awe at the display. There were lights, ice, confetti, and doves. The Class I-A made sure to use and utilize their quirks to give us a spectacle that nobody can forget. It gave me goosebumps.

Hero too, I am a hero too
My heart is set (my heart is set) and I won't back down
Hero too, strength doesn't make a hero
True heroes stand up for what they believe
So wait and see, so wait and see!

I squeezed Mirio's hand. He glanced at me and gave me a smile, understanding that I was communicating how he was a hero too. He is still a hero.

People will judge for no reason at all
Yeah they might try
To say your dream's dumb, don't listen
They may look down on me and count me out
I'm going my own way
They may look down on me and count me out
I'm a hero, I've got music

Hero too, I am a hero too
My heart is set and I won't back down
Hero too, strength doesn't make a hero
True heroes stand up for what they believe
Yeah I'll be

Everyone in the crowd is cheering, at the top of their lungs. The effort they made and the message they want to say are well received.

Mirio squeezed my hand, his eyes soft as they landed on me. He lifted my hand which was laced with his and kissed my skin. "Thank you." He mouthed, it was too loud around us but I understood.

I have met so many heroes in my life
Gave me the strength and courage to survive
Gave me the power to smile everyday
Now it's my turn to be the one to make you smile

I was not focused on the song now. I drowned it out. Eri had a big smile on her face, her arms out like a small bird getting ready to take flight. The shackles binding her from Overhaul disappeared in that moment and she finally learned how to smile.

My eyes went towards Mirio too, his smile wide and genuine on his face. There were tears brimming on his eyes, and his hold on my hand got even tighter.

For some reason, my quirk activated.

Eri's white light shone in the darkness, bursting out of the prison she was held in for so long.

And gawd...

Mirio's sun light was glowing, brighter and brighter, as I have never seen it before. I let out a sob, I thought his glow was dying.

Sir? Can you see this?

You were right! Mirio will be fine.
