Chapter 1 Legend of the New Mexico Murder House

when i started work for Mr. Tunstall he has told us not to go near the New Mexico murder house. the New Mexico Murder is a very creepy old house on the outskirts of Lincoln County New Mexico. the legend that goes with this creepy old house isn't a very pretty one. the legend tells of this woman who went crazy and killed her whole family with an ax one starless and moonless Halloween night  nobody knows what really happened. i have heard the legends and stories since i was a child my dear sweet mother told me the legends of Ireland her home land. the legend of the headless horseman has it roots in Irish legend. and there is the legend of La Llorona in Mexico she is also known as the crying woman. people say if you see or hear her cries something bad will happen to you. in Irish legend they say if you see the headless horseman it means death. this legend tells that anyone who is brave or foolish enough to go near or go inside the New Mexico murder house would become trapped there forever. the day before Halloween Mr. Tunstall had took in a beautiful girl named Dahlia. Pat Garrett had came by to help us get ready for Mr. Tunstall's big Halloween party. all of had stopped to rest and we got to talking about the New Mexico murder house. Pat told us that he had heard some weird sounds coming inside that creepy old house. Chavez said " that he always took another way into town just to keep from going near that house because he had saw something strange outside of that house." i told Pat that i don't dear go near that house at all. Charley said " tonight he was going inside of the New Mexico murder house just see what everybody was so scared of" we all gave Charley a look that said i wouldn't go there if i were you. later that night Charley leaves Mr. Tunstall's ranch and goes to the New Mexico murder house and goes inside of it to stay the night. as soon as he walked through the door of that creepy house the door slams shut and a voice says you shouldn't have come here. the ghosts appeared right in front of him. back at the ranch we waited to see if Charley was going to come back or if like the legend said he became a part of that house forever. early the next morning we got our answer Charley came back white as a sheet and said " you guys are right that the most haunted house in New Mexico and i am not going there ever again."  so this Halloween be safe and if you should pass by the most haunted house New Mexico keep going or go inside of it if you dare and at your own risk.
