The kitchen went from sounding like a hurricane to sounding like a dead forest within seconds.

While any other person might feel self-conscious with all eyes on her, Teagan was unphased. She had always had eyes on her. Not in a conceited way, just that everyone seemed to care what Teagan did; she was a smart, and attractive girl. Besides, she was a pure-blood.

So, instead, she simply walked further into the kitchen. Seeing a teapot, she quickly summoned a mug, and fixed herself some tea. Once the tea was to her liking, she looked around the table for an open seat, and found one next to a tall, slightly buff, red head that she assumed was Charlie Weasley.

With eyes still on her, she slid into the seat and started fixing her own breakfast plate.

Unsurprisingly, Sirius was the first to break the silence.

"Jenny! Still alive are you?"

Teagan saw Molly shake her head in exasperation out of the corner of her eye.

Turning her head, she looked at Sirius blankly before responding, "Sadly, yes," and turning back to her food. Charlie was struck by the faint Scottish accent he heard.

This small interaction seemed to break whatever spell that had taken over the room, and soon questions were flying all over the place.

"Mum! Who is this?"

"Are you a part of the Order?"

"Where'd you get that scar-"

"-was it from a knife fight?"

"Who the bloody hell are you?!"

"Ronald Billius Weasley! We do not use that kind of language! Be polite! I raised you better than that! You too Fred, George! Ginny, you as well!" Molly's voice cut through the onslaught on questions.

"Children, this is Teagan Brùn. She does work for the Order, and she will be staying with us for a couple of weeks." Remus' calm voice informed the children who were staring at Teagan like she was a cross between a squid and a unicorn.

"Alright, but who is she?" Ginny asked again.

"Ginerva!" Molly scolded her youngest again, "She is Charlie's girlfriend. Dumbledore thought it would best if she stayed with us for a while. It turns out nicely because Teagan and Charlie haven't seen each other for a while." Molly finished pleasantly.

Her words sparked another round of incredulous and shocked questions from the Weasley children. Their brother, their dragon obsessed brother, had a girlfriend? It was preposterous!

"You have a girlfriend?"

" Since bloody when?"

"You spent enough time away from your precious dragons to find a girlfriend??"

"Who are you and where is our brother?"

"Is it really so surprising that I have a girlfriend?" Charlie cut in, a little insulted. Did they really think he was that dragon obsessed? Was it really so surprising that he was in a relationship?

Wait.

What?

He wasn't in a relationship.

Was he??

He would know if he had a girlfriend right? That was something someone would know, right?

This- this wasn't the cover story his mum had been talking about was it?

He was shaken from his thoughts by all of his younger siblings practically yelling "YES" in answer to his question.

"Do any of you have significant others?" a voice asked.

Charlie turned to Teagan, who was staring at his siblings expectantly over her mug of tea.

"Well, no-"

"-not exactly" his siblings muttered, looking down at their hands or their plates.

"Well, maybe get one before looking down on your brother for having one. Besides, who wouldn't want Charlie for a boyfriend? Have you met him? He's sweet, respectful, and hot as hell." Teagan told the four of them, glancing at him as she said the last bit.

It was the first time Charlie had seen her eyes. She had been passed out for all of their interactions(could they be called interactions?) leading up to this moment. Her eyes were a very pretty mix of dark green, and a grayish blue. They were like no eyes he had ever seen before, but they were already his favorite. He could look at those eyes all day every day for the rest of his life.

"Well, what do you do Teagan? How did you and Charlie meet?" Hermion asked, shaking Charlie, and Teagan, from the brief staring contest the two were in.

"I work at a bookstore, actually. I also write books, on occasion. Charlie came into the shop one day, looking for a book on Antipodean Opaleyes'. He went on a rant about dragons and it was possibly the cutest thing I've ever witnessed. When he finally ran out of breath, I asked him out." Teagan finished with a small, fond smile on her face. The accent that Charlie had heard before was stronger as she spoke.

Charlie was shocked. How was Tagan so unruffled by this? She couldn't have possibly known about the cover story could she? She was so calm and collected, there wasn't a hint of shock on her face when his mum had announced that they were dating. And the story of how they met? It was so believable that it kind of scared him. Just who was this Teagan Brùn?

"Really? You write books? About what?" Hermione asked, leaning forward a bit in excitement.

"'Mione, cmon!" Ron complained, nudging the bushy haired girl in the ribs.

"Oh shut up Ronald!" Hermione snapped back, turning to glare at Ron.

"I write books on virtually any topic you could think of. From manuscripts to fantasy novels, I've dabbled in them all." Teagan responded.

"Really?" Hermione asked, intrigued, "Do you have a favorite genre? For reading, writing, or both?"

Teagan stood up to put her plate in the sink. "I would have to say fantasy to write, but probably history to read. Are you done darling?" she asked Charlie, motioning to his empty breakfast plate. He nodded, trying his best to not look surprised. "Although, honestly, fantasy is always fun to read as well. It amazes me how such great works such as Pride and Prejudice, for example, came from a single person's imagination. More coffee darling?"

Once again, Charlie attempted to shake off his surprise at the question. She was acting like they had been a couple for a long time, even though they had just barely met.

"Yes please love," he managed to get out.

While Hermione had engaged Teagan in a conversation about books, his brothers, and his sister, had all continued to stare at him incredulously. This was heightened by the pet names Teagan and himself had just called each other. After Teagan had returned to the table with a fresh cup of tea for herself, and Charlie's coffee, his siblings pounced on him.

Sirius and Remus had vacated their spots only a couple of minutes before, and he cursed them both bitterly in his head. Fred and George took the seat the two older men had vacated, and Ron and Ginny had simply switched chairs so that they sat across the table from him.

"So Charles my boy-"

"-care to tell us more about your little girlfriend?" Fred and George asked him. His two other siblings nodded their heads, also looking for more answers.

Charlie heaved a great sigh. Taking a sip of coffee, whichwas made just as he liked it, to his surprise, he braced himself.

"What about her?" he asked, resigned to the questioning he knew would follow.
