Chapter 5:
The following day, most people are excited to return home for the holidays. Fresh snow covers every surface on the school grounds as the smells of delicious holiday foods and treats greet everyone's noses. Beautiful music is being heard.
Roselia wakes from her slumber with the shadow of the usual smile. Professor Lupin will be taking the Hufflepuff girl home for the Winter Holidays. For the first time, she's actually looking forward to the holidays. All of her stuff is packed up, ready to go.
Many students couldn't wait to return home. It's going to be a little difficult because everyone will be heading towards the train station. Hopefully, Professor Qurriell's plan could work. Roselia waits until the loud noise dies down before appearing out of her dorm. She looks around to see only a few students in the hallway before fully emerging.
All of her stuff appears in the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. A sly smirk slightly curls on the professor's lips when he sees the trunks and a student's school supplies. "The plan is about to start, my lord," Qurriell thinks. He soon hears the familiar soft knock at the door. "C-Come in!" Professor Quirrell calls out with the familiar stutter.
"Professor Q-Qurriell?" his favorite student, Roselia Softpaw, answers while opening the door.
"R-Roselia!" he grins happily. "R-Ready to-to go?"
"Y-Yes, I-I am!" she smiles happily.
"W-We are-are g-going to travel th-through Floo Powder!"
Roselia was taken back by this. "Pro-Professor! I-I'm still-still underage to-to travel through Floo Powder!" she freaks out, getting scared of the consequences for her professor.
"Only if we get caught," Qurriell didn't stutter as a smirk curled on his lips as he leaned forward a little.
That sort of confidence came out of nowhere, making the young wolf girl's lips softly curl a smile where a soft giggle appears.
Professor Quirrell helps her get into position in the fireplace that magically appears for them with their stuff. He calls out an address while throwing it at them.
The young wolf finds herself in a nice-looking small house. Her dark eyes grew big and wide. It's smaller than her parents' home, but it feels more homely. "It's so pretty!" she smiles softly.
"It's not much, but it's home," Qurriell tells the surprised little girl with a half-smile while patting the top of her white snow hair. "Come on, little one, let's get settled in your room."
Wolf ears perked at "your room." She never had a bedroom of her own before; if she did, it would have been when Roselia was born.
Qurriell places a hand on Roselia's shoulder, taking her firmly towards one of the bedrooms. A slight smirk placed itself on his lips as the plan slowly unrivaled.
A door opens. Big wolf eyes widen in amazement. White walls greet her in a dimmed light like a twin-sized corner colored in grey and rose gold. Across from the bed lays a gray desk, perfect-sized for a new student. Lastly, a closet is located next to the entrance. It may be small; it's perfect for Roselia.
"Do you like it?" Qurriell asked with a smile.
"I-I love it!" Roselia smiles, bigger than usual, while turning her head up at her dear friend.
"I-I'm so glad! I'm going to let you get settled before lunch," he tells the wolf girl with a smile. "Sounds good?"
"Okay!"
Roselia waits until Professor Qurriell leaves the room before squealing happily, jumping around a little. Her own room! All of her stuff is placed where they belong—clothing like tops, skirts, dresses, and trousers hanging in the closet. School supplies lay across the desk organized perfectly. Undergarments and diapers are nearly placed in storage under the bed.
