Chapter 19: Final Chapter
Everyone begins heading home on the train. One student stays behind, not wanting to head back home to either place. Her birth givers don't want her home and too many memories at Daddy's home.
She sighs but noticed something shiny in a distance. It's from the forest and it moved. Roselia's interest perks.
The snowy/pink wolf enters the forest to find the source of the shine. She finds herself running for a long time and it's nearly sunset. Pain and soreness cover her body as she decides to stop for a break. Thirst dries Roselia's mouth as hunger growls in her tummy.
A few deep breaths transformed her back to human form and her ears and tail out. She looks up to see a small cottage in the middle of the thickest part of the forest with its rustic charm.
Roselia sees the shine at the door and disappears into the cottage with the door closing them inside. "W-Wait!" she calls out, hurrying over towards the door. Softpaw stops for a second before deciding to enter inside.
The inside of the cottage is a tiny home with important stuff. There's a kitchen on the other side that lays a couch to lie or sit on. A twin-sized bed is higher that leads with a ladder. Roselia notices all of her stuff are already here! But how? The thought gets interrupted by the smell of fresh, rare meat presented to her on a plate in front of the couch. She immediately attacks the meat and it tastes delicious! Water helps with the thirst while meat helps the hunger.
A note catches her attention on the kitchen counter with unfamiliar handwriting. Roselia picks it up with her paw to read the message. "Enjoy your new home," was all that was written on it, confusing the wolf girl more.
She yawns a little as the fresh meat makes her tired. The young Softpaw begins her usual nighttime routine by changing herself and putting on cute jammies. Roselia climbs up the ladder towards the twin-sized bed from above where she sees it's the same theme as she had when Daddy was around.....the memory of her daddy cries her to sleep.
The shiny object manifests into a large female snake as she watches the wolf girl sleep with a smirk on her face.
