As Belle drove out of the portal she found herself in a different city. As she got off her duel runner and took off her helmet she looked around the city. The city around her looked futuristic but with a tone of playfulness. After a bit she noticed two people duelling not so far away from her. When she got closer she noticed that there were no holograms of the duel itself, so she looked at the boy that had bright pink and dark blue hair. She noticed a strange device the boys head but she didn't really think of it much. The other person that was there was bright on the first look. Belle felt like they were from another world, they had a glowing light blue body and different colored eyes one was golden and the other one was pure white. After a while of looking at them Belles vision got blurry, one of her eyes turned pink as she heard "alternative vision link established" in her head. Her vision got back to normal but she then noticed something new she could see monsters. She looked confused on what happened but looked closely on the duel that the two people had in front of her. The boy with bright pink and dark blue hair had two monsters on his side of the field. One of them was a magician and the other one was a weird golem. Belle saw many different kinds of monsters but those two were new to her. The other person had a big warrior-like monster with two big swords on it's hips, machine-like wings and a number 39 on its shoulder. Belle never saw that monster neither.
After a bit Belle got curious on what they were talking because she couldn't hear them from where she was. So she got closer, and as she did, she could hear their conversation.
"Are you ready?" Said the boy.
"Why wouldn't I be?" Said the glowing person.
"Ok here I GO!" Shouted the boy and then he continued, "I overlay level four gagaga magician and gogogo golem!"
Belle looked confused and shocked this was her first time seeing this type of summoning, because back at home she only saw fusion summoning and synchro summoning. She continued watching, as the boy was about to use the new summoning but he was interrupted by the glowing person.
"Hey Yuma do you know that girl over there?" The glowing person asked Yuma.
Yuma looked at Belle, "nope, why'd you ask Astral?"
"It's just that she has been watching us duel like she has never saw a duel before." Astral answered and stared at Belle.
"She's probably a fan and is amazed by the way I duel. What do you think if we give it our all Astral?" Yuma said in a challenging tone.
"Ok Yuma" Astral said and smiled.
"Oh I forgot about my xyz summon" Yuma scratched the back of his neck but then continued "I xyz summon rank 4 gagaga cowboy!" As Yuma finished he took out a card from his extra deck and placed it on his duel disk summoning a Person with red cape, a cowboy hat and guns attached to its arms.
"But Yuma your gagaga cowboy has less attack points than my utopia, it doesn't have a chance" Astral said laughing a bit.
"Astral you always told me to not underestimate your opponent" Yuma smiled and continued "that's why I use one overlay unit to lower your utopias attack points by 500 and my cowboy gains 1000 attack points when it attacks and that's why I'm gonna attack right now"
"But Yuma i think you forgot that only a number can destroy a number" Astral said with laughter.
"Your utopia is maybe safe but your life points aren't!" Yuma shouted exited "GO GAGAGA COWBOY ATTACK UTOPIA!" As Yuma said that gagaga cowboy shot utopia several times causing a big explosion. After the wind blew off all the dust utopia was still standing but Yuma didn't seem suprised. Then Yuma ended his turn with two facedowns.
Duel continued between the two, each turn getting more exciting than the last. Belle was looking at them amazed and always being surprised by the things they pulled off, it almost reminded her of the duels she had with her dad. She took out one of the cards mom gave her.
'Dad ... I miss you but I'll try to find you no matter what' she thought to herself and stated slowly crying while looking at the card "stardust dragon... my dad's ace." as she said that she tried to smile but was still crying.
Duel has finished with Yuma barely winning the duel.
"YES another win for me" Yuma laughed.
"That was a close one even closer than the last one i almost thought i could win" Astral said with a smile on his face.
Yuma looked at Belle with excitement just to see her cry. Astral looked a bit confused on to why but then noticed that Belle was holding a card. Then they both approached Belle wanting to cheer her up or help her.
