The next morning, I pulled out the Winster from my bag and cut it in half, then cut one of the halves in half again. I ate one of the smaller halves and gave the other half to Twig. We ate slowly, and enjoyed our wonderful meal. When we were finished, I went to the sewing tree that was right outside of our tree house, and got a couple of cloth strips and made a little bed for twig. I left Twig in the tree house while I went out to find food and water.
I climbed down the long crooked ladder to the dry ground. I once again tied the rope around my waist and started to walk towards the rising sun. I found old rusty metal scraps and some more of the Winsters and another type of fruit I'm not sure if I want to try. I started to head back home, I heard a growling noise behind me. I slowly turned around and saw a large creature standing above me. I ran the opposite way as fast a I could when thud!!! I hit the ground. I tried to get up, the creature was coming near, I couldn't get up. I turned around to see the creature staring at me with its haw wide open ready to attack. My leg was stuck on a log, the rope was tangled in it. I tried to untangle as fast as I could but there was no use. I pulled out my pocket knife and cut it of and ran the way the rope was leading.
I finally reached my house when the creature shrieked, it fell into a sand pit.
