The sun was beaming through the windows surrounding me, my eyes peered open to find a beautiful morning sky shining through large floor to ceiling windows over looking the city below.

As I sat up I realised I was in a luxurious king sized bed, with silk sheets that felt like heaven on my skin.

I looked down to find I was no longer in my dress, I had on a large grey t-shirt that was just about covering me in the right areas.

I scanned the room trying understand how I'd got there, I saw my dress draped over the back of a chair in the corner of the room. My mind started to flood with memory's of last nights events, as my eyes slowly scanned over the dress.

As I recalled the events my breathing became heavy, the room started to spin violently and I lay back trying to level myself again.

'Oh no, what have I done I need to go home! Adam is going to be furious with me, I haven't done any of my morning chores!'

Realisation dawned on me rather quickly as I tried to scramble out of the bed, the door clicking open behind me startled me. I almost fell to the floor as Carter made his way towards me, his arms reached out in an attempt to catch my flailing body.

Although his attempt failed, as my body smacked the hard wood floor beneath me.

'Ouch!'

I laughed off the pain I felt as I hit the floor, Carter spoke softly as he scooped me up in his arms and placed me back in the bed.

"You are on bed rest angel you can't get up yet, not untill the nurse comes back to put another round of IV fluids. You passed out from dehydration, the doctor that seen to you said you didn't have any food in your system. When was the last time you ate?" He asked sternly, as if he was upset I hadn't eaten.

I tried to think when I had last eaten something, clearly my face gave away the fact I was puzzled by his question. A few seconds passed as he watched me ponder his question, he finally broke the silence speaking with a firm tone.

"See, if you have to think about it it's been to long. What was you thinking drinking like that on an empty stomach!"

"I can't stay here, how did I even get here? Who undressed me and then dressed me again? Where is my bag and phone? And last but not least where the hell is Sadie?!" I ranted all in one breath, that's why they call me 'speedy' I guess.

"Okay, let me see if I can answer all that in one try. First off I carried you here then proceeded to undress you, then dress you again. Your bag is under the chair, your phone is in your bag and Sadie? Sadie is in the room down the hall with Josh, she has come to check on you several times and has given me and ear fill already." He said through gritted teeth, clearly unamused by Sadie's over protectiveness.

"I can't stay here, I have to get home!" I pleaded softly, "My mom's probably worried." I lied hoping it would help my case somehow.

"Sadie text your mom from your phone, letting her know you was staying at her house. Sadies brother is covering for you at her house, also like I said your on bed rest untill you have another round of IV fluids. You are dehydrated still and you need to eat something, end of conversation." He stated harshly, leaving no room to argue back.

I nodded my head and layed back down on the bed, pulling the covers over my head to hide my bright red cheeks.

There was something about his husky voice that sent shivers through my core, leaving me hot in the cheeks and begging for his touch in my mind.

"I'm gonna go call the nurse to administer the IV, then I will send Sadie in with some food for you." He stated calmly before exiting the room swiftly.
