The love conspiracy

You never told me about this Katy ? " Max asked.

I could clearly see that Max was disappointed by Katy.

" Max I wanted to.. but we never got a chance to talk...."

I thought of giving them some privacy..but by the time I could really make a decision I saw a tall lean figure hugging Max. I couldn't really see her because of her back facing towards me. But I knew that I had met her before.

" Hey Max . Good to see you here. With a new girlfriend? Eh ? " the girl said and started laughing .

" Hey Grace .. I am surprised by your presence too. " Max said.

She leaned to kiss him on cheeks.

WHAT THE... I couldn't believe that Grace was here. I used to hate her. She was the most popular girl of our college. She had the sexiest figure that all men used to desire. She was perfect but very abrupt. She used to bully me all the time. It was not that I was too weak to confront her but I didn't give a damn! There was a time when they were together.. but I guess they weren't in good terms after that.. So why is she here? Kissing him? May be they are in love again? And dammit I didn't want to ruin my first experience by having her.. over here!
Oh god! Help me .. why did I even think of coming with Max . It wasn't a good idea at all.

" El. " I felt someone grab my waist . I turned to look who he was.

" Raul . Thank god you are here. I was searching for you. You are a life saver." I said being happy that I even had my friends over here.

" Not enjoying the site in front of you ? " he asked. I knew what did he mean by that question.

" No.. I wanted to be with you guys in my first party ." I lied. I actually wanted to be with them but in this situation I wanted to kick Grace in her ass and take Max away from her.

" Oh I don't think so .. cherry .. you just cannot lie to me. "

That was absolutely correct. He knew me very well.

" I will get a drink for you. " he said and disappeared from my sight.

" I will be waiting. Come soon." I still said knowing that no one was around.

I couldn't hide my blush to what he said. He was strikingly handsome. He had blonde hair , grey eyes , and he was quite tough. He was soooo hot. After all I had come here to enjoy so I decided to say yes.

" I say yes to the most handsome guy out there. " Oh no ! Did I just flirt with an unknown guy? No this not happening.

I could see him giving me a big smile. There was soft music playing in the background. A romantic one. Steven grabbed me by my waist with both of his hands and brought me very close to him. He gave a small wink and we started swaying . It was peaceful moment. Although we had just met .. It felt comfortable in his arms . I don't know why.. but it did. Suddenly the music changed from soft to being loud. I opened my eyes to look at Steven.. I didn't realise that my eyes were closed all this time.

" It was nice to see you. I will have to see you soon." He said and left.

How will he contact me? He didn't even know my name. I felt a little low.

" Hey .. where were you? And someone gave me this to hand it over to you " Raul said.
