Scripture Reading: Psalm 40:3
'He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.'

What the scripture is about:
David was so joyful and appreciative of God's deliverance of him from his enemies that he lifted his voice in a song of praise to the Lord. He shared this praise with his countrymen so that they would reverence the Lord and trust in Him.

My take away:
When God delivers us out of our troubles/ circumstances, he puts a song of praise/gratitude in our mouths. God expects us to share this gratitude with others. He wants us to share with our friends, families and even strangers about his works.
When others hear how God is able to perform the many things he has done, especially in the life of someone they know, they may fear God. Fear in this case means 'revere- reverence'. So others will see what God is doing in your life and may give their lives over to him.

Prayer 🙏🏽
Lord thank you for the many things you have done, you are doing and will do in my life. I pray God that I will share your blessings and your works in my life so that others will see your good works and glorify you. I pray that something I'll do or say will allow if it's even one person Lord to accept you as Lord. Use me Lord for the benefit of your kingdom. In Jesus name. Amen.
