(Y/n) and Ichigo were once again in the white void together, sitting across from each other, their blades at their sides.
"Preferably in a way that makes sense." (Y/n) answered in an irritated tone.
"In this world there are forces outside of our control, such as Life and Death, when I died I was sent here, to give you my power. And from what the Soul King and your world's Death told me, your world is going to need every bit of it."
"Right, I got that. But what exactly are you?"
"I am a Substitute Soul Reaper, but I'm also part Quincy and part Hollow. My father Isshin Kurosaki, was a Soul Reaper and my mother Masaki Kurosaki, was a Quincy that was bitten by Sosuke Aizen's experimental Hollow, White. And because of that I was born with immense spiritual power, and the ability to see ghosts. Much like you can actually."
"Man, that's some heavy stuff right there. So Spiritual Energy is the source of our power?"
"Yeah pretty much, your Reiatsu will grow with you and strengthen with you as you train. And--"
"Wait is it 'Spiritual Energy' or 'Reiatsu'?"
"You can call it whatever you want I don't care!" Ichigo was starting to get irritated.
"Alright alright! So is your 'Spiritual Energy' and this... Zan-whatever the only thing I'm gonna get?"
"Heh, no not even close." Ichigo stood up, picked up his blade and rested it on his shoulder. Then it felt like the weight of the ocean was baring down on (Y/n) from all sides, it felt so intense he fell to his side and was dangerously close to throwing up.
"Your Zanpakuto and Spirit Energy were once mine, as well as my other abilities and techniques, and as I train you, you'll grow to surpass me, the Spiritual Pressure you feel now will feel like nothing compared to when you become the strongest."
Ichigo lifted his Spiritual Pressure, (Y/n) looked at his new master in amazement.
"Holy shit, now I'm scared to see your other moves." (Y/n) stands up and slings his Zanpakuto over his shoulder and onto his back.
"Don't get too worked up, we're just getting started!" Ichigo grinned.
"BANKAI!"
There was another blast of Spiritual energy, it blinds (Y/n) for a second but he recovers quickly and look back where Ichigo once stood.
