Chapter 2: Puffy

POV: Minx
"Uhm...I don't know if that's a good idea...I'm a drummer Wil, I dont' write" I say
"Yeah but you edit all my songs! And some of them were terrible before you helped out!" Wil says punching me lightly in the arm,
"I don't know guys, I don't have anything to write about!" I say taking my drumsticks out and do tricks with them again,
"You have that girl! I mean I'm sure you have other classes with her!" Sapnap says
"I guess, but I've never seen her before!" I say, worried I'm about to write a song as a Junior about a random Freshman,
"Or, you've just never noticed her" Dream says, his eyes following the drumsticks still twisting and twirling around my fingers.

"Maybe" I say before grabbing my drumsticks and shoving them in my bag. We talk for a little while longer but I couldn't get that girl out of my head. I've never felt like this about anyone before...

*RING* *RING* *RING*

"Alright guys, see you after school" I say, standing and walking out, heading to class. On the way I'm stopped by some random girl asking for a picture and if I can do any tricks. I say yes, take the photo and take out my drumsticks.
"Everyone shut up she's gonna do some tricks" The girl shushes everyone around us and there's a circle forming, waiting for me to do my thing. I take a deep breath and start slowly getting faster and faster. I start spinning them around all of my fingers when I see her in the crowd, watching me.

I get nervous and finish the tricks with a spin around my pointer finger and then catch them in my hands, then put them in my back pocket. Everyone claps even though they were simple tricks and then walk away. Except for the girl. She walks up to me and nods saying,
"You're quite talented with your fingers" I'm pretty sure that's the gayest thing any girl has  ever said to me, and it almost made me pass out.
"Thanks, took a long time to master" I brush off my shoulder jokingly. She smiles and starts walking away,
"W-wait" I catch her shoulder and turn her around, "What's your name?" She smiles at me,
"Uhm...Puffy, my name's Puffy" She looks down at the ground.
"I'm Minx" I say,
"I know...I mean, I know who you are, I'm not like a-a fan or anything!" She get's all nervous and it's...kind of cute.

"Don't worry about it, what's your next class?" I ask noticing the halls are almost clear,
"Uhm, Chemistry is next for me, what about you?" She looks back up at me and I get to look back into her beautiful green eyes,
"Same actually, room 201"
"Me too" She says smiling.I guess Dream was right.
