Chapter 4: Crush

POV: Minx
"Minx, did you write anything for the song yet?" Dream glances at me while unpacking his guitar.
"Not yet. I seriously don't know what to write" I sip some water before walking over to my drumset. The school said they'd let us use the band room for practice but we prefer Wil's garage. Classic band, I know.

"Didn't you have something with that girl" My face begins to redden.
"Well...I thought she was cute, that's all. It's just a silly crush, nothing to write a whole ass song about" I lean over to pick up my drumsticks when Wil and Sapnap enter.
"Hey guys, what took you so long?"

"Well I had an idea in physics that I needed Sap's help with" Wil said plugging in the mics
"What's the idea" Dream asked
"Well Sapnap has a crush on this guy at school and he told me about it earlier..."
"Yeah and?" I say wrinkling my eyebrows.

"Annnnddd I asked him to describe him to me after school and it was almost poetic" Wil looked at Sapnap and smiled.
"You know you're really bad at getting to the point Wil-" Wilbur cut Dream off,
"I THOUGH Instead of me writing all the songs, why don't you three write one song each for the next EP?" We all had a puzzled look on our faces.

"Here, I'll give an example. Minx" He pulled up a chair and sat in front of me,
"Describe this girl you're crushing on"
"I don't have a cru-"
"Shut up and do it bitch" Dream cut me off. I send him a glare before turning back to Wil.

"Well, her name's Puffy..." I hesitate for a moment "She has green eyes, they have a hint of brown in them. Like a forest...her hair is almost orange, but not quite. At the roots it's dark brown almost black, it slowly gets lighter at the tips...like a fire." I glance around looking at everyone's eger faces,
"She seems mean at first but is really, super sweet" I smile at the floor and look up at the boys.

"See what I mean?" Wil turns to Sap and Dream and they both nod.
"Why not instead of having practice today, we work on our songs? I'll work on one too, and I'll be here to help if anyone needs it" Wil shrugs waitng for a response,
"Sure, I mean I'm not the best speller but I can fucking try" Dream smiles and takes a notebook and pen out of his bag. I do the same. Jeez I barely know this girl and now I'm supposed to write a whole ass song about her...

POV: Puffy
I get home and faceplant on my bed. Not noticing my older brother sitting at my desk.
"Rough day?" I jump and turn towards him looking down at a page.
"Yeeeeaaahhhhh, why are you in my room?"
"Doesn't matter" I frown and get up, walking up behind him. On the page were words in the form of verses. He quickly crumples the page and throws it in the trash can. Standing up,

"I'm leaving now. You need anything from the store?" He doens't go to the store so I say,
"Wisky and some beer" He flips me off on the way out, turning to enter his own room. When I hear his door click closed, I grab the paper out of the trash. It's a song.

~Time Skip (next day)~

I eat an apple on the way to school, listening to music as usual when I feel a tap on my shoulder and look up. I smile,
"Oh hey Gee!" I pull my earbuds out of my ear to give her my full attention.
"Hiya Puffy! I just texted Niki she's already at school." I smile at her peppyness this early in the morning. How the fuck does she do it?
"Sooooo you have a little spring in your step! Who's the girl?" I look at her in confusion
"Sorry, or guy?" I chuckle,
"You were right the first time." The smile remains on my face.

"OoOoOoO PuFfFfFyYy!!  Anyone I know?" Gee nudges me with her elbow and I look down at the ground.
"Actually, I'm pretty sure everyone in this damn school knows her..." I frown. She's beautiful and famous, why would she like me? Why do I even have this stupid crush anyways? It's not like I have a chance-
"Really?" Gee get's louder as we enter the buiilding. I blush and push her slightly,
"Shut the fuck up" We laugh and part ways.
