(fair warning this chap is kinda steamy LOL)

NORAH SAT QUIETLY SIPPING HER BEER AS THE OTHERS HAPPILY CONVERSED, after the state she'd seen Rafe in earlier she didn't know how to feel. Kie was the only one that knew so she didn't bother her much but the boys kept asking her to get up and have some fun.

"Cmon now, what's got you so down" Jj jeered pulling her off her chair and onto her feet, "just tired j, it's what happens when you have an actual job" Norah retorted jokingly, Jj laughed and pushed her shoulder. He easily took the bait. 

John B walked over and started moving her arms around to the beat to make her laugh, he succeeded but after a while she retreated back to her seat, this time smiling as she watched everyone around her with not a care in the world. Oh how she wished she could feel the same.

"Rafe does stuff like that all the time" Kie whispered over to Norah, "what?" she looked up at her, Kie took a sip and then continued, "he gets in fights with guys all the time Norah, don't think about it. besides the two deserved it."

"..i-it's not the fighting i'm thinking about Kie, its... the way Rafe looked at me" Norah quietly replied, "well how'd he look at you?" she said

"i can't explain it. it's hard to understand, you would've had to have seen it."

"Norah i saw it, i just wanna hear you say it" Kie said looking down at her and raising an eyebrow, "he looked at me like he'd kill for me..."

"yeah. i saw that too."

"What i can't figure out is why. Why on earth has he started to act like this towards me now?" Norah said beginning to look frustrated, "I don't know why not but you two have had this weird flirty banter going on for a while before. Not to mention he's probably been obsessed with you for years" Kie calmly said

"what?"

"He never knew exactly who you were, just that you hung out with us and he liked the look of you. When... when I had my kook year I became obviously close to the Camerons and he'd always ask about you but I wasn't close with you so I didn't know much."

"Wow... years??" Norah said lowering her drink from her mouth trying to process what just came out of Kie's.

"Yeah dude, I remember finding something actually material out about you and going and telling Rafe, it was that you had just got a boyfriend, he was so unbelievably mad but he kept denying it was because of you. He punched a hole in the living room wall that day" Kie laughed

"Holy shit Kie. That's scary, he punched a hole in the wall??" 

"Oh cmon that house is so old you could basically punch a hole in the wall" she rolled her eyes
