A/N: Pokemon is not mine, images are not mine, Pokehumans is not my invention.
After travelling for hours on end, you were finally there - Moon City, and at first sight it looked like a very oridinary place, average sized houses, average sized shops, nothing special - certainly not a place where you would embark on the greatest and most exciting adventure of your life.
''We're here, honey,'' your father was already climbing out of the car. You snivelled softly to yourself, suddenly not caring if you looked like a little kid. I miss my friends. Your father murmured. ''Come on.'' You hesitated, and a single tear trickled down your cheek. You weren't homesick, this place, while boring, looked fine, it was just... company... that you were worried about.
Your mother seemed to realise your unhappiness. ''Darling... it's okay to fear change... but change is always happening... it's your friends, isn't it? Megan, and Alfie?''
You nodded sadly, thinking about the two kids whom had meant so much to you - Megan, fast and kindly, she was great fun, though she could be serious if she felt it was needed, and Alfie, he was short tempered, and was a bit of a loner, but you had seen his real side - the lively, wonderful boy he was.
''They were lovely children,'' your mother put her hand on your shoulder. ''And they probably miss you as much as you miss them, but we are moving on - understand?'' You didn't reply, staring at your feet. They weren't your friends. You didn't know them properly. You don't understand, so I don't know why you're trying to make me understand your own point of view! And to your own dismay, you snapped. ''Shut up!'' you yelled, seeing red, stamping your foot. ''Megan and Alfie are my best friends - how the Hell can you be so dismissive?''
Your mother looked a little shocked. ''Dear-''
''Be quiet!'' you continued to lash out. ''It's okay for you - you're so annoying and inconsiderate that no one would want to be friends with you!''
''Stop!'' your father stepped in front of you, fuming. ''That is no way to speak to your mother! What do you say?'' He was obviously asking for an apology, but you weren't about to give it. You could see your house - you remembered your parents announcing the address, and you ran towards it, crying madly. You raised your fists, slamming wildly and viciously at the door, when you heard a voice coming from one of the neighbouring houses.
''Why you so angry?'' You turned around, and found yourself faced with a boy dressed in neat, dark red clothes, with scruffy, pale hair and big, blue eyes. You knew who it was at once, however bizzare he now looked - it was Stoutland.
