Kate's POV

What the hell. Cameron and ser- okay I'm surprised. Since when does Cameron "settle down?" Whatever.

Cameron's POV

"Okay great I'll let her know. Okay. Bye"
Shawn is awesome. He wants to meet Serena... I wonder why? Mm probably heard how great she was from Kate. I hope they get along.

C- hey babe, you wanna come over?
S- when?
C- tonight or tomorrow night. Which ever.
S- sure I'll ask.
C-okay
S- omfg my mom actually said yes! She wants me to go out tonight. So tonight it is. Ahhhh!
C- lol great I'll pick you up at 5. I'll have you back by 10.
S- perfect I'll see you soon babe. Bye.
C- see ya soon love.

Yes she's coming im gonna flip. I haven't seen her in while but at least we're in a good place. I called Shawn and told him to come when ever and he told me that he's really excited to meet Serena. I'm kinda nervous. Shawn's one of my good friends. Pshhh he'll love Serena I have nothing to worry about.

Serena's POV

"Shawn... He's the one that sings right?"

"Yes silly. Gosh I don't know why you're so worked up about meeting him Serena. He's a sweet guy. You've got nothing to worry about."

"But Kate!!!! I want to make a good impression. This is how I felt when I was gonna meet Nash and Hayes but Nash was so open and I knew who he was... Uhhh I hate boys."

"Calm down I'll be here and so will Nash and Hayes. I promise everything will be fine. Hey I gotta go I'll see you soon bye babes."

"Bye love."

I love Kate and all but I'm still freaking out. I knew stuff about Nash, Hayes and even Matt but Shawn.... Complete other story. I know who he is and why he's famous but I never bothered to watch his stuff.

I'm so dumb why didn't I just watch his stuff. Then again, I don't know this was gonna happen. Plus who would have thought that I'd be dating Cameron Dallas? Yeah no one. Well it's go time cause Cam just pulled in.

*skip car ride*

We pulled into the drive way and I started hyperventilating low key. I was snapped back into reality when Cam opened my door. I smiled and took his hand to get out of his car.

When we got to the door Cameron spoke up. "Just to let you know, Shawn is one of my closest friends and it would mean a lot if you guys got along."

I looked him in the eyes and smiled while nodding. I grabbed his neck and got on my tippy toes and brought him close enough to my face so I could give him a reassuring kiss. He grabbed my hand and opened the door.

My ears were instantly flooded with music. Cam set his keys on the small table by his front door and stopped us in front of the two halls that lead to the family room and the kitchen.

"I've gotta take care of some stuff. Kate will introduce you to Shawn okay." He gave me a small smile and pecked my lips before turning around and leaving.

Alright, you can do this. Here goes nothing. I walked into the living room and and saw my people. Matt was on one of the recliners and Nash was on the one across from him. Kate, Hayes, and Shawn were on the couch.

" There you are we've been waiting for you!" Kate said as she got up to engulf me in a hug. Matt came over to me and gave me a hug. Than Nash came up and gave me a bear hug. Since Kate had retreated with Matt to the recliner, I walk the couch only to be greeted by a some what sullen Hayes. What's wrong with him?

He got up and gave me a sad smile. I got closer to him and he wrapped his arms around my waist only to bring us even closer. I was taken by surprise and it took me a second to realize what was happening. As soon as I did I wrapped my arms abound his neck and felt him shaking in my arms.

When we parted his hands lingered at my waist and my hands transitioned to his face. I gave him smile meaning that we would talk later and he nodded.

After that moment Hayes sat down and spoke up. " Serena this is our good friend Shawn. Shawn this is Serena also Cameron's girlfriend."

Shawn stood up and gave me a casual hug and sat back down. I sat where Kate was formerly sitting, between Hayes and Shawn.

After an hour of giggling and getting to know one another I had known enough to know that Shawn really is a good guy, and that he's super nice.

As we were all enjoying ourselves, one of Shawn's songs came on. "You should sing!" Nash said too excited. "Yeah that's everyone's favorite part about meeting you c'mon Shawn." Kate said in the same manner.

"Alright fine but you asked for it." Shawn started to sing along to his song "something big" and well I was not disappointed.

After he sang we all clapped and he collapsed on the couch. "You know who's a good singer?" Cam started to say. Oh don't you dare say it. "Serena." Damn it!!!! I hate you Dallas ugh.

"Oh really? Care to show me?"

"Um yes I kinda do Shawn. I've never sang in front of them and well I'm not that good."

"Oh cmon Serena you can't be as bad as us." Nash said trying to make me feel better.

"Ugh fine but I won't do it alone."

"Okay I'll sing with you" Shawn said with a smile.

"Pick a song babe." Cam said with a smirk.

"I don't know what songs Shawn knows? I know one of his tho."

"Than lets sing that. Which one?"

"Life of the party." I said with a nervous Chuckle.

"I'm cool with that."

*skip singing*

"Wow. Your good."

"Thanks that feels good hearing from a singer."

"Of course. We should sing more often. Here's my number."

"Yeah okay." I said with a smile. Oh god what am I doing.
