Did Shawn just give my girlfriend his number? Bitch better be careful.

Shawn's p.o.v
Serena's great. I honestly want to get to know her better. She reminds me of... never mind. I think she's really good for Cam. He needs good. I'm gonna try to chill with her more.

I'm inviting everyone I know to a concert which the Dallas' gladly decided to host. I can't wait for everyone to listen to the new songs I've wrote. Maybe I can get the crowed involved.

Kate's p.o.v
We're throwing a party!!!! Well not exactly a "party" more like a concert. Where I'm gonna party. Serena's coming and she promised to turn up with me. Uhh I'm so pumped!

Serena's p.o.v
I'm really excited to hear what Shawn's working on. He's doing covers too. I'm so ready to get turnt. I just gotta be careful. My moms coming.

"Serena I'm ready when you are!" My mother screamed from outside of my bedroom door. I'm really nervous for her to meet his family. They already love me since I'm the first girl they've actually approved of. If my mom ruins this I'll be devastated.

*skip car ride*

When we got there I was relived to see that "their" casual was identical to mine. I'm wearing a grey crop top accompanied by blue and white stretchy jeans, as well as grey vans. Kate wore something similar. She wore a blue and white crop top with grey stretchy jeans Joined by blue and white vans. When she welcomed us she pointed out our coordination and she hugged me like we've known each other for ages and it made me feel secure about our friendship.

When we walked in I heard some music and a lot of voices. I forgot Shawn invited all his friends. Those friends are Cameron's friends... great. Cameron's mom met us in the hall and introduce herself to my mom. They quickly got into conversation about how similar Kate and I are and how adorable we are together. Cameron soon came and greeted my mom with a hug. As soon as she left with Mrs.Dallas Cameron looked around and swallowed me in a hug. Afterwards he lightly kissed me. "Jessica! I need help practicing!" I heard Shawn shout. "Wait can I borrow her?" Shawn asked Cam when he saw me.

"Yeah sure just take care of her okay?"

"Of course Cam, she'll be fine I promise."

"Okay" Cameron said before smashing his lips against mine as if trying to claim his territory. No. Cameron's trying to show that I'm only his to Shawn. I knew this would happen, I'm so dumb. Shawn grabbed my wrist and led me to the back of the stage.

"I need to practice can you warm me up?"

"Sure but how?" He smirked at me and led me to a table set with four mics. Two were the kind you put on your shirt, and the other two were the kind that you hold. He grabbed the one of each and handed me the one that you had to hold. As he adjusted the mic going on his shirt I continued to stare at the one in my hand. "It won't bite." He said with an infectious smile. "I know I just don't understand why I have it." Another smile grew on his face. "you're gonna sing with me. Back here of course." A sigh of relief came out of me and a smile found its way to my face.

"Pick a song we know and play it." I nodded my head and searched thru his phone for a song. I stumbled upon "Misery" by Maroon 5 and I decided to play it. As soon as it started Shawn started to move his body to the music.

"So scared of breaking it that you won't let it bend." Shawn began to sing and at occasions in the chorus I would join.

My part was about to begin so I took a deep breath and closed my eyes so I could pretend I was just singing in my bedroom after school.

"Your salted skinned heart, it mixes in with mine. And the way it feels to be completely intertwined. Not that I didn't care it's that I didn't know. It's not what I didn't feel it's what I didn't show, so let me be and I'll set you free yeah! I am in misery there ain't nobody who can comfort me oh yeah."

Shawn continued the song and I joined in at times as I usually would when singing with friends. I had so much fun and just forgot where I was.

When the song ended I heard a bunch of claps and whoops coming from the outside of the stage. Shawn smiled and grabbed my hand. He led me on to the stage where a crowed of familiar and unfamiliar faces flooded the area.

As soon as I put everything together I kinda freaked out. The thing that was more shocking was some of them chanted asking for an encore. Shawn looked at me, smiled and looked back at the crowd. "We're gonna go pick another song out give us a second." He grabbed my wrist and led me back to where we were.

"Did you really just do that?!"

"Yes but please don't be mad. I did it in case you had stage fright or something."

"Well I do you idiot!"

"Well you heard em. Pick another song."

"What?! Huh you're funny."

"Fine. Life of the party it is." He grabbed my hand once again and led me to the entrance of the stage. "Alright, here we go." Shawn shortly began to sing and I realized that I would have to sing or i'd embarrass him. I listened to him sing.

Then it was my turn.

Shawn continued and we just started getting into it, but this time it was different. This time it felt like it was just us two and it was as if we were just talking to one another. I knew Shawn felt same when his eyes locked with mine and never moved. We got close and illustrated the lyrics in a simple way. It was... amazing. I've never felt this way before.

After the song was over, another song we both knew came on and we continued singing as if we were in a natural trance. Our eyes never left each other. Everything seemed perfect.

Shawn's p.o.v
I wish I found Serena earlier. When I sang with her on stage I felt like I could do anything and it wouldn't be wrong. "alright everyone were gonna take a break and continue this party later. By the way I'm Shawn and this is Serena." We walked off the stage and as soon as Serena put her mic down she turned and wrapped her arms around me.

"Did that really just happen?!"

I couldn't help but smile at her comment "Yes S that did just happen." She squealed and jumped back in my arms. She's so cute. Cameron came back stage and collected Serena in his arms. "Babe! Why didn't you tell me that you were singing?"

"Cause Shawn surprised me." She said smiling at me. I couldn't help but smile back.

Cameron gave me look and I figured that he wanted to talk to me so I just nodded.

"Babe, Let me introduce you to everyone."

"Alright." She said sweetly. She flashed him a smile and laced her fingers with his and Cam led her outside. I miss having that...
