Lit a Match

I lit a match on a day of loneliness. I felt alone, in a room filled with people. People would talk, yet I hear no sound. I felt it was only me and a lit match.

I and the match built things together, one of which was a wall. A wall that could not be able to fall all at once.

That match and I had problems with people. So I pushed them away, I pushed them so hard, I almost forgot they were still here. That match I lit was burning fast and running low on light. I knew it couldn't save me forever.

I looked at the match, and said "I don't need you to save me." I let the match fall. Soon my worries, problems left, and I got hope.

I don't have walls now they left with the match, but I got a fence. With a gate to only let the people I want come in.

Thank you Little Lit Match.
