What the heck

"What the hell are you doing here" I whispered yelled

"Nikki nice to see you again" Nathan said

"Nathan how did you figure out where I lived" I questioned

"Well it seems that when you have the biggest band in the world around you so much it's not that hard to find out" he chuckled

"Liam go get Nathaniel up" I said not turning my head from Nathan

He quickly bolted upstairs and I heard talking coming from upstairs and beeping noises from our gun safe. Liam and Nathaniel came downstairs and he just stopped looking at Nate.

"Oh looking here the guy that took you from me" Nathan looked at my husband.

"What do you want with my family" I snapped

"Oh you know my daughter" he replied harshly

"Mate she doesn't know who the hell you are" Liam said

"Mommy what's going on""i heard a little voice from the top of the stairs

"Oh look my baby girl" Nate said stepping forward trying to get to Natalie.

" Liam grab her" I screamed not thinking about the others sleeping

Liam quickly ran up the stairs grabbing Natalie and hiding her face into his chest. Nate try to move up the stairs but I pointed the gun at him

"Do not take one more step near my family" I said between my teeth

"Or what" he questioned

"I will kill you" I snapped

"What happens if I do it first" he chuckles

He pulled out a pistol and I heard a gun shot. I looked over Nathaniel who laid there bleeding. It took me less than a second to drop the gun and rush to my husband side.

The boys came piling out of their rooms wondering why the hell there was a gun shot in the house. Nate ran out the door and took off before I could even get to him. Liam hung on to a crying Natalie who was terrified.

"Daddy!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

I put pressure on Nathaniel's wound and kept praying he wouldn't die.

Zayn's Pov

I heard talking downstairs but I thought it was just Nikki and Nathaniel talking so I didn't bother getting up.

I laid there for a minutes and then heard a scream about Liam grabbing Some one. Then that was followed by a gun shot and I then knew something was wrong. I jumped out of my bed and threw my door open and looked down the stairs. Natalie was screaming and Nikki was in tears. That's when I saw Nathaniel laying on the ground bleeding.

Nikki's Pov

"Nathaniel you have to stay with me" I whispered through the many tears falling down my face.

"Nikki please protect our girls" Nathaniel replied faintly

"I will but I'm not losing you" I said
"Macy, Sky get down here" I yelled for my sisters

The ran down the stairs faster than ever.

"Sky I need you to pull him up in his side" Macy said

Skylar flipped Nathaniel on his side. Macy lifted his shirt and looked for something. As the did this the boys also came downstairs and all hugged me tightly

"There is no exit wound. Someone call and ambulance" Macy yelled

Later

I was sitting in the waiting room with everyone around me. Waiting for someone to tell me about my husband. Natalie was passed out because she was crying so much. Tears still streamed down my face but I sat there quietly. I heard the hospital doors open and there stood Blake, Amanda, and Austin.

"Nikki" Amanda said through her tears

I got up and hugged my mother in law.

"Have you heard anything about him yet" Blake asked

"No all I know is that he is still in surgery" I replied

"Hopson" I heard the doctor say

We all stood up and gathered around around the doctor.

"Nikki I'm glad to say that the surgery went well and he will be fine" he replied

I was so relieved that my daughters would have their father. I walked into his room with Natalie asleep on my shoulder and waited for him to wake up.
