"Look, I don't give a damn about your opinions. You asked to be here and I let you."

"Yeah about that...why? I mean, these past days have shown me that you don't like people, especially people you don't know, so why did you let me in?" I look at Shigaraki, a faint smile on my face.

"Your quirk. I like it, it's useful." He doesn't look at me. He pulls the hand off his face, holding it a few inches away from him. "Any other questions?"

"Well besides wanting to know the truth, no."

"What?" Now he looks at me.

"Oh please, I don't believe that you only let me in for my quirk. There has to be another reason. You didn't kill me, before you recognized me. Why?"

He looks straight ahead, thinking. "You really want to know?"

I nod.

"You're the first person I've found interesting, in a long time."

I look at him, not sure what to say to that.

"I don't mean that I like you, okay? I find it interesting how you talked to me, reacted to what I said. I find your quirk the most interesting thing about you." He rests his hands in his lap, looking at the hand.

"Why?"

"You're really annoying." He puts the hand back on and stands up. "I'm going inside." He leaves me alone on the step outside the bar.

After a minute, I walk inside too. When I look around, I notice that he's gone but Toga, Dabi and Kurogiri.

"Look who decided to join us. You actually gonna do anything here or just sit around?" Dabi watches me as I walk towards him. "Y'know you actually have to help out here, right?"

I glare at him, and then smile. "I was actually planning on sleeping with your boss, if you haven't already. Is that something you all do to help out here?"

Kurogiri makes a noise, something like a snort and a laugh.

"I like her." Toga says quietly. "She's fun."

Dabi glares. "I'll burn you to ash if you ever talk to me like that again."

"No you won't." Shigaraki walks up from behind me, making me jump. "You don't get to kill the useful ones."

"What, are the people here just tools to you?" I look at him. Even though I've been here for two days, I never thought he didn't like these people.

"Surprised?" As he asks me, everyone goes quiet.

"I don't know how to feel about that actually."

And for the first time in about three days, he chuckles. He actually chuckles.
