Fun fact: This chapter's name was previously "I can't let you get close" but I then changed it to what it is now due to an inspiration from the comments from my other book "cAtS?!"

(y/n)'s POV:

So it is him. It's definitely strange to see him without his signature hair and he looks a lot younger too. His voice also isn't as deep. What does he want with me and what did he mean it's really me?

"Nice to meet you, Hanma. My name is (y/n) (L/n) or (L/n) (y/n), however you like it, but just call me (y/n). Now, what do you mean by "it really is you"?"

His face change into slight surprise, "Hah? You're telling me you defeated him without knowing who he is?" I quirk a brow, "Am I suppose to? I don't know who or what you're talking about. Will you please enlighten me?" I inquired while mimicking a 19th century victorian speech manner.

He smirk, "Since you asked nicely, I'll gladly do so. Rumor says that one night, the former leader of the Black Dragon got attacked but was saved by a girl with a scar that run across her left eye down to her neck and plus she fought without a right forearm. She easily defeated a man named Inazuki Tanaka who is notorious for his dirty and brutal way of fighting, thus his nickname, The menacing lion. He was considered as the best fighter in Roppongi but now that he's been defeated, no less by a girl, everyone is curious who this person is and lucky for me, I seem to hit the jackpot." his smirk seemingly grew wider.

My brain took a moment to process the information until it clicks, "Ooh, so that was him? And menacing lion? I thought he looks like-"  uuh what was the word again? Ah right, "-a lion cub."

He burst out laughing, "I was right after all! And a lion cub? You must be very strong in order to say that." He proceeds to sit at the empty desk in front of me, leaning both of his arms on my desk as he stare at me with amusement in his eyes.

I sweatdrop at his reaction.

Ah, right. From a kid's perspective it seems arrogant when I said it like that but he doesn't know I only meant it in way that this Tanaka dude doesn't even look close to intimidating, he looks like a soft boy trying to play hard. How adorable. If anything I think Alejo looks way more intimidating than him and he's only 19.

"What do you want, Hanma? I'm sure you're not just here to "meet" me."

"Geez, why so stiff? But you're right. I'm not only here to meet you but I also want to fight you!" he exclaimed at the end while standing up from the chair, both of his hands on the desk as he leans his face close to mine with a crazy smile.

I raise a brow along with a deadpanned look, although I sort of expected it, "Fight? You came all the way here just to ask me to fight?" Hanma proceed to do jazz hands, "Of course!~ Now fight me, (y/n)! Show me how strong you are!"

I stayed quiet. I took a glance at my surrounding. Everyone was looking, the room was quiet. I look back at him, "I..." I heard gasps. Hanma's eyes widen in eager anticipation. The crazed smile never leaving his face.

"Refuse."

His face quickly twist into shock, "Huh?"

"You heard me. I refuse. Will you now please leave me alone? I would like to spend the rest of break time in peace. You're also making the others uncomfortable." I then threw a mocking goofy smile.

His face turned neutral for a moment until his grin returned yet again. He moved away from my desk and make his way towards the door, "This won't be the last time we're seeing each other, (y/n)." I made a shooing motion, "Whatever you say, Hanma."

After the door closed, I can hear some students letting out a sigh of relief. I was going to mind my own business until, I notice some figures approaching me.
