A nervous Uchiha stood inbetween the crowd as he glanced at his brother, or his brother's other personality.

His usual cold face had a warm glow to it radiating off his smile, his raven hair looked longer than before tied at the end and the empty eyes held happiness that made Sasuke tear up for a moment but he can't cry infront of so many people.

Sasuke couldn't help but think that this dimension Itachi could have been the future of the real Itachi had fate not been so cruel to him.

"Ni-san!". Charasuke fist bumped Itachi's arm, gaining his attention as his brother laughed.

“Now, Sasuke there... there we are suppose to go on a mission. Don't be so childish". Itachi spoke softly with a gentle gaze.

Meanwhile, the Uchiha watched the interaction between the two brothers transfixed that Shikamaru had to shake him up as the three teams were now leaving with Kakashi.

"Daijōbu Raiden? We have to go". Sasuke nodded absent mindly as he went outside with everyone, passing by Itachi who just for a moment, looked at him and held his gaze for a second before Sasuke vanished with his team.

"Who was that?" Itachi asked and Charasuke replied, "No one special just Sakura's boyfriend, Raiden".

"Raiden". Itachi whispered, as he felt he had met him somewhere else but couldn't remember.

"Itachi". Sasuke whispered, trying to forget that he even met him, for the sake of his sanity.

After regaining his lost composure, he caught up with the teams before they landed on the entrance of Konoha overlooking the sunset but Sasuke didn't even consider admiring the nature's beauty like the pink kunoichi did yesterday, because she isn't here anymore.

"Ah! What a nature's beauty but don't forget we have a mission to accomplish!". Kakashi shouted enthusiastically and Sasuke cringed including everyone else standing there.

"Whatever! Just give us the damn signal so we can set off in our assigned directions". Hinata muttered and Menma put a hand over her shoulder, taking her by surprise.

“Calm down, Hinata!". A red-faced Hinata nodded, slightly embarrassed but happy that Menma cares.

"Hai! Hai!... " Kakashi rolled his eyes.

“... Nowadays no one cares about my words". He grimaced and Hinata was ready to show how much she cares but the grip on her shoulder, prevented her from doing so.

"Wakatta". It didn't go unnoticed from the eyes of the white haired jonin as he pretended to compile by his choice.

Kakashi made a summoning hand sign before the required hounds appeared in a circle with a poof, "Summoning jutsu!".

"Pakkun, Akino, Bull, Shiba!". Kakashi called out the names of his hounds who ranged from heights but were equally skilled and dangerous.
