3rd person POV

"What do you want" mew asked when seeing her

"Are you better now did gulfs soup work" she asked in a small voice making mew roll his eyes

"Like you care" mew scoffed and she sighed

"Mew I do care I really really do I just want you to be happy an-"

"Me or yourself" mew asked and she stayed quiet

A part of her knew he was right she thought that making mew marry lia a beautiful rich and nice women then he would be happy and so would she knowing her son was with someone good

"Please can you call gulf back I want some food" mew said and she sighed

"Okay" she said and mew set up immediately

"What" he asked and she looked at him

"I will call him he hasn't left yet so I'll try and go catch him so he can make dinner for us and stay the night tomorrow I will tell the driver to send him home I still want you guys to separate but if you truly don't like being with lia I will end the contract" his mother spoke and mew stood there frozen while she went to catch gulf who was about to get into his car

"Gulf" she called out making gulf turn and look at her

"Is something wrong" he asked and she sighed

No matter how rude she was or used to be to him he always kept a cold but respectful behavior towards her

It just made her feel even worse

"M-mew wants you to cook for us please just some dinner I know he's been craving for your food and I also want to try and please stay with mew tonight he.... Needs you" she said before leaving the shocked gulf who slowly made his way back to the house

Entering he took his jacket off and shoes then went straight to the kitchen after grabbing a few things he started ignoring the sounds of lia and mews mother

"I'm sorry lia my son doesn't want to marry you so he won't" she said and lia froze

"W-what why" she asked

"I don't want to go against my sons happiness anymore today I realized something and thought about the future he wouldn't want to be in an unhappy marriage and I don't want you to be in one either please tell your parents I'm sorry but no the deals off" she said walking the crying lia out she helped her inside the car ignoring her harsh words before she went back to her house

Hearing noise from the kitchen she went and peaked to see what it was

"No mew your sick na go sit" gulf moved his shoulder which mew was laying on

"No" mew stuffed his face in gulfs neck breathing in his scent

"Go sit mew or else" gulf warned grabbing the carrot making mew look at gulf who looked down at him with a very serious face

Mew smiled and gulf smiled back before it went right back making mew shiver and let go of his... best friend before sitting on the counter watching gulf

"Did you miss me" mew kicked his feet up making gulf smile softly

Gulf thought he would be better than he was but he wasn't good at all, he just slept all day but it wasn't comfortable without someone laying on him or holding him or someone bothering him constantly it just wasn't the same, turns out he wasn't the only person who was physically attached to the other

"Surprisingly I did" gulf chuckled making mew pout

"Well I didn't miss you at all" Mew said before turning his gaze away from gulf as gulf turned around and looked at him

"Really" gulf asked and mew nodded his head

"Then I should leav-"

"No no no I still hungry cook and then go" mew said immediately making gulf laugh

"Okay mew you said it" he said and mew peaked at gulf who was still looking at him before he jumped down and hugged him

"I missed you so much na I thought I would die don't leave after please" he smiled making gulf smile as well and squish his cheeks together

"I missed you to dummy now go somewhere" he pushed mews face away making mew laugh and go back to his seat watching gulf as he cooked

Mews mother's walked away quietly and smiled slightly, she hadn't seen mews smile all week

Now she knows she made the right decision
