Twenty-one

Gulf's POV

1 month later

"Yes you see the little baby there" the doctor pointed at the screen as she continued to rub the gel on my belly

I looked up at mew who's face was stuck in the screen while a big smile was plastered upon his handsome face

"You see it baby look look" he said and I looked back at the screen seeing the small white bean in my stomach

It's been a month since I found out I was pregnant well Mew always says we are pregnant but whatever

He's been making us take pictures with every ultrasound we have we have a whole book full he wants to take a video and photo of every single one to save them and show them our kids later, his words not like

I'll admit I'm a little scared because of what happened before but I'm even more scared to tell mew what happened before so I'll wait until the baby is born before anything happens if I survive then I'll tell him

"Alrighty guys I took the photos you can have them once they print out" the doctor said and another second they were in her hand and she passed them to an excited mew who was wiping my stomach off

"Thank you so much" he said as he wiped his tears

Still after every week we come to the hospital he always cries when we see the baby

"Stop being a wussy" I said as he helped me sit up he just wiped more tears that came from his eyes

"I can't help it I'm too happy" he cried more tears streaming down making me sigh and wipe his face off

"You embarrassing me your crying like I got hurt of something" I whispered yelled so only he would hear

"I'm sorry" he wiped his face off while I held back a smile

I then turned to the doctor

"Can I ask you something um privately" I asked and she smiled nodding her head making me turn to mew

"Bye leave" i shooed him away and he pouted

"But-"

"It'll only be a second na" I said and he looked at me for a quick second then walked out as soon as he closed to door I turned back towards the doctor and asked my question as I sat up correctly

"I wanna ask about a miscarriage"

Mew's POV

15 minutes later

"That's all gulf just be careful from now on now that you've told me that I thinks it's best we inform your husband as well" the doctor said gulf immediately looked towards her making me confused

"No I'll tell him soon" he said and she smiled a bit

"But still I won't tell him all I just need to tell him the effects" she said and gulf sighed

"Okay" he said

"Let's go" she said and I stood up

"You guys are just gone talk like I'm not here" I asked gulf as we followed her

"Sorry na I'll tell you later" he avoided my eyes as grabbed my hand we both caught up with the doctor until we were inside her office

3rd person POV

"Have a seat" the doctor spoke to both mew and gulf who sat down after she told them too

"So I wanna talk to you both about something, first off gulf is a man so with that being said there will be problems but not that many as his pregnancy will go smoothly just like a woman's pregnancy but because of some problems in the past that I have been informed about that changes everything.... His body is at risk I'm telling you guys now that he may have to have surgery after he gives birth to the baby" she explain and mews grip on gulfs hand tightened a bit as he sat up

"What does that mean he'll be in danger he-he could die what will happen" mew asked frantically

"I'm not sure what will happen sir but not saying you should give up the baby but there is a 50 percent chance that you will have to chose between the baby and your husband but whichever you choose we will try and save the other I can't say I'm 100 percent sure we can but we'll do our best" she said and mew face dropped his frown was very visible

"Then what can we do to save both" mew asked

"We wait Im still not sure of the problems he will have yet I just have assumed some based on his past but I will ask you to either come into the hospital or get in contact with me on a face time or whatever I just need to be able to see you guys once a well doesn't matter what day just once a week" she said and mew nodded his head

They finished talking before mew and gulf went home the whole car ride was silent mew was very concerned not only for the baby but for gulf as well in the further and present as gulf haven't said anything even during the meeting

After about 20 minutes they were home Mew helped gulf inside the house and for the first time gulf spoke since the meeting

"I want apples" he said looked up at mew who was staring at gulf "red apples I want some" he said cutely and mew mentally cursed in his head because the only red apples were across town but if his baby wanted them then he got them

"Okay baby I'll be back okay you get some rest I'll be back as soon as I can" mew put his jacket back in and kissed gulfs forehead and lips then ran out hoping to be as fast as he can so he can come back to gulf

After about 30 minutes gulf tried to sleep but couldn't Mew was taking too long so he decided to go get his own apples
