Its been three days since damien was released from the hospital he was put on bed rest for a week so he gets to be lazy. Today is my first day of work its 7 am and damien and my son are passed out( above) i get up cause i go in at 8 i jump in the shower just a short shower and then i got out and put my sports bra on and my spandex shorts then walked out to my closet and slipped on my black work jeans and my read pizzeria shirt i tucked in my shirt and put on a black belt then went back to the bathroom i did my false eyelashes well i was waiting for my straighner to heat up as i finished i straightend my hair and i put it up in a high bun and combed my bangs to the side i slipped on my work shoes that i bought yesterday and i was ready i kiss damien and my son goodbye and i head down stairs it was 7:31 so i went to the kitchen and saw mom as usual cooking breakfast
"Hey sweety" she smiled looking up to me" Wow dont you look nice"
"Thanks mom" i laugh
"What time is your shift over" she asked
"6" i smiled
i grabbed a smoothie out the frigde and told mom bye and headed out to work.
as i pulled up to the parking lot i noticed that boy from the grocery store and again he was staring at me
i walked into the pizzeria and the manager walked out the back.
"welcome michelle " he greeted "My names jack and i am your boss"
"Okay so where do i start" i ask
"oh right cashier" he smiled " this is your station"
he taught me how to use the machines and then i was on my own for the day i got my break at 12:30 damien texted me to meet him and my son at the burger shop downtown so i grabbed my purse and keys and drove off to the burger shot as i parked i saw damiens car i walked inside and was greeted to his table
"Hey babe" he smiled
"hey honey" i say as i sat next to jr
"Hows work going so far" he asked
"good babe arent you suppose to be on bed rest" i asked
"Michelle i feel good i swear" he explained
just as i was about to answer back the waiter came
"would you guys like some drinks" he asked
"Uh i will take yout pink lemonade please" i say
"And i will have a Pesi" damien added
"and are you guys ready to order aswell" the waiter asked
"uh yeah i will have your spicy chicken italian burger with lettuce extra cheese and jalpeno" i instruct "and as a side i want curly fries"
"and ill take your regular Double stack cheese burger with extra bananna peppers" damien smiled" and as the side i would like Garlic dipped fries with extra salt and gralic with a pinch of lemon powder"
wow he was so specific as we ate we talked and before i knew it my lunch break was almost over
"Well babe i have to get back to work" i say checking my phone" i love you babe" i kissed him and my son and off to my car i drove back to work.
i pulled in and walked to the back to put my purse in my locker and saw this girl in there as well
"You must be new" she looked at me
" oh yeah my first day" i chuckle
"Well my name is samantha" she extended her hand out
"Michelle" i say shaking her hand
after talking with samantha i went back to my station and my shift starts back up it was pretty busy and as 5:30 struck the clock i was so relieved i started stocking and picking up and before i knew it the next shift came and i was free to go home
i pulled up to my house and everyone was home i walked through the front door to find the one and only ashley sitting on my couch
"sweety you have a visitor" mom yelled from the living room
i walked over and i see mom and ashley sitting at the dining table
"Weres damien" i ask
"Oh hes upstairs with the baby" mom informed
"Oh okay" i say
it was quiet for some time then ashley finally spoke
"So michelle i bought you a late baby shower gift" she handed me the big blue bag" sorry i didnt make it to the baby shower"
"Oh its fine ashley thankyou" i smile at her
i open the gift it had so much i pulled out a baby bath set with soaps and lotions she boughh him sox and clothes and little shoes.
" Well Michelle i got to go i have work in a bit"
"okay well ashley thanks for coming and thanks for the gift" i hugged her and then she walked to her car
it was 7pm and i couldnt wait to get in the shower work had been tireing so i took hot hot bubble bath and relaxed my self
after a while i got out and got ready for bed it felt good to actually be home.
