After Ryuko wakes up you push Mako out of the way and hug Ryuko.

Y/n: Why must scare me like this?

Ryuko: What do you mean?

Y/n: Do you actually need to ask?

Y/n: Douma, get the list.

Douma: Here it is.

Y/n: Thanks, Douma.

Douma: Did you just say "thanks"?

You clear your throat and look at the list.

Y/n: Let's see... Turned into a giant monster and almost died, fought Nui and almost died, put Senketsu on when he wasn't finished and almost died, fought Satsuki and almost died, fought your mother and almost died, and tore off Junketsu and almost died.

Ryuko: But I didn't die!

Y/n: But you almost did which is why Douma and Akaza are keeping you here until you've made a full recovery from all injuries.

Ryuko: But-

Y/n: No buts! You are staying here.

Ryuko pouts.

You pick up a sword that was made for you per your request and start running to Hounouji Academy.

Then the blade pierces her skin and decapitates her. Much to your surprise, she just puts her head back on her body.

Y/n: What!? Time to strategically retreat!

You run all the way back to the knife boat.
