Chapter II

Hey guys! I'm here at the beginning to say that the two supporting couples in this story are very unusual and let's say they're not the most popular, but I'll make them interesting couples ^^.

After being stunned for a short period of time by her stunning beauty, your bewildered senses have returned to work as they should and you quickly took the gold and emerald tiara to clean any small mess it might have, to make you look even more presentable for her.

A shy smile spread across your lips and she smiled at you, which made you feel like your heart was melting.

"Could I have the pleasure of knowing your name?" You asked.

She opened her mouth to speak when a sudden voice cut through the crowd.

"Zephyrina!"

You two turned and you saw an elegant but looking angry pegasus walking towards you two.

"Oh no, not again." She lamented and moaned in frustration.

"You owe me an explanation young lady!" The older pegasus raged. "Let's go."

The beautiful pegasus reluctantly followed her, must be somepony important to her. Before they left, the lilac pegaso turned to you.

"Oh, don't let this nagging stop you from enjoying the ball, dear." She said politely and soon after, the two disappeared among the other ponies.

"But I wanted to talk to her, please wait!" You screamed, but it was in vain amidst the sound of so many chats happening at the same time.

You definitely wouldn't just stand there and do nothing, you had to see her again.

Meanwhile, Pipp made new stories for her Internet fans at the ball and soon after, she went to the bathroom. As she washed and dried her hooves, she wondered why she hadn't seen the ball, someone special to her that she had recently met, but was already in her heart.

She heaved a tired sigh as she walked out of the bathroom when she was suddenly startled to feel a hoof touch her shoulder.

The princess turned around, but her expression of fear quickly turned into a smile of happiness when she saw who it was. He was a very well dressed pegasus in expensive clothes, due to the money he made by being a famous digital influencer like Pipp.

"Thunder Strike!" She exclaimed happily and gave him a hug.

"It's so good to hear your sweet voice, babe. I wanted to come see you, taking advantage of the fact that there are no guards in this hallway right now." He replied, giving her a wink.

"Even if there aren't any around here, it's very dangerous, my mother forbade us to date until my sister gets married first." She whispered.

That was a fact that bothered them a lot, because they couldn't publicize their relationship on social media for their Pipp Squeaks and Strikers so the Queen Haven wouldn't find out.

The stallion approached, looking her lovingly in the eyes and cupping her chin.

"None of that kept us from seeing each other on the sly." He replied, leaning closer to kiss her.

Pipp reluctantly pulled away from him, so as not to risk being discovered.

"We can't in public, have you forgotten?" She reminded him again.

"This bathroom is not a public place, is it?" he asked, pointing to the door.

"But what if somepony...?"

"Shhhhhh." He interrupted her, gently placing his hoof under her lips. "That just makes it more exciting, remember?"

Pipp stared at him for a while, until she couldn't bear to keep her seriousness and smiled, then went into the bathroom with her forbidden lover.

Meanwhile, the queen and Zipp went to a private place to discuss what had just happened.

"What's wrong with me doing a performance? They liked it." She argued, hoping to convince her mother.

"Darling, I'm not mad about this, I'm mad because it's an inappropriate situation, it's a royal ball and not a stunt show." Haven replied, which reluctantly shut her up. "Alright, shall we go back to the ballroom?"

"Do I have another choice?" Zipp retorted.

All the way, they didn't exchange another word. Haven sensed she wanted to say something to make her daughter feel better, but couldnt seem to find the courage when she saw her that angry.

Back in the ballroom, Haven was overjoyed to finally find the unicorn monarchs, having searched for them, but was interrupted by Zipp's performance.

"Oh, there they are, let's go honey." She said.

Zipp sighed wearily and followed his mother, knowing the rule of being introduced to all guests.

"Mom, where's Pipp?" She asked in a whisper.

"I don't know, she should be here, but we'll look for her later." Haven replied.

Seeing that they had found, or rather been found by the queen, your uncle and aunt rejoiced, especially her uncle.

"Good night, it's an honor to have you here today." She said politely, bowing.

"The honor is all ours." Your aunt replied, while the two also bowed.

"This is Zephyrina, my eldest daughter." She introduced Zipp, who bowed without saying a word.

"It's a pleasure." Your aunt said with a nod and a smile.

"Charmed, your highness." Your uncle said, though he had privately noticed that, despite her beauty, she didn't look at all like a princess.

"If you'll excuse me, I need to go freshen up." Zipp said, quickly slipping away from the conversation.

Soon Haven and your uncle started talking, he showering her with praise and being a gentleman, hoping to accomplish his goal.

"If I may say so, despite having seen little so far, your realm is absolutely charming."

"Well thank you, I also wish I could visit Unicornia someday." She replied with a smile.

"We'll have our doors open to receive you, just as you did." He replied, which made her smile widen. He was happy to see that he so quickly fell in her favor. "So where's your second daughter? I hear you had two and that they helped bring the magic back."

"You must be very proud of them." Your aunt commented.

Haven actually had a lot of proud of her daughters. But she was sad to see that she didn't have the best of relationships with them.

"She must be in the bathroom or getting ready to sing a song, she has the voice of an angel."

"I can't wait to hear her sing then." He replied, seeing that he had softened her up enough, he was ready to ask the most important question of the night. "So, your daughters are single? Being very beautiful like they said..."

"Oh no, they're still single, Pipp is not allowed to have a relationship and marry before her older sister, orders from my late husband before he dies." She explained.

"Oh I see. We also have an unmarried daughter." He said with a smile.

"Is that so?" Haven asked with hopeful eyes.

She hadn't told anyone at the time, but some time ago, she had made some bad investments in order to get more money to take care of their people. But it ended up going wrong and most of the fortune was gone.

Little did she know, that she had been tricked by two pegasi scammers who fled the kingdom with all the money.

She was hoping for a miracle, until she discovered that the Kingdom from which she had invited the unicorn monarchs, was filled with infinite riches and that just a little of it, could make Zephyr Heights return to the tranquility of before.

"Yeah, she's the youngest, but she's pretty and the most cultured of them all." Your uncle replied.

"Maybe we can introduce her to Zephyrina, I'm sure they would get along very well."

"Very well. This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship, or rather, the alliance between our breeds that will never be broken." Your uncle said.

"So be it." Haven nodded as the two made a hoofshake.
