"Why are we at a pub?" Anne questioned staring back at all the people staring at them, was it because there were kids in a bar? Ron stated, "It's not just any pub, Anne, it's-", "magically?" Anne sarcastically said. "It is actually" Rose finished while she was pulling along Hugo while they walked out of the other side of the pud to lead to a brick wall. Anne was about to make another sarcastic comment, but she decided to wait as there is probably something magically behind it. Yet again, Anne was right. Hermione pulled out her wand and tapped her wand against it which she did some pattern that Anne couldn't even remember as the next sight was astonishing.

Each brick pulled away slowly into thin air, it was magical. The brick wall opened up to a busy old fashioned shopping centre, most people looked really busy and they knew what they were doing but there were a few people who were in awe just like Anne.

"This brings back a lot of memories, doesn't it?" a man said who had circle shaped spectacles and dark messy hair. He walked up to them with a woman who had red hair just like Ron and three kids who all looked like Anne's, Rose's and Hugo's ages. "You must be Anne, nice to meet you!" the red-headed woman mused. "This is our friends Harry and Ginny and their kids Lily, Albus and James!" Hermione stated. They all said "Hi!" in unison, "Anne and James will be in the same year, hopefully, the same house too!" Ron said, nudging his nephew James. Anne laughed as James smiled at her. "What do you-", "Hogwarts has four houses each with different qualities that the Sorting Hat sorts you into. Gryffindor, the brave. Ravenclaw, the wise. Hufflepuff, the loyal. And Slytherin, the cunning" Harry finally finished explaining as they walked to Ollivander.

James and Anne went inside Ollivanders themselves as everyone else went to Flourish and Blotts just to make their trip quicker. "So, you want to be in Gryffindor, just like your sister?" James jested as he held the door open for Anne. "Thanks, um, I dunno, probably? Like it sounds really cool! I'm still trying to put my head around all of this!" Anne chimed as she pointed at everything around her in the quiet dusty shop. They paused, waiting for something. Anne didn't know what, but James did. "Hello children!" an old man with white hair broke the silence. Anne jumped but James smiled. "Mr Potter and look! It's Mrs Granger's younger sister! I remember the day your sister and your parents brought their wands!" Ollivander said knowingly as he looked into the eyes of each of the kids. They smiled back, excited to find out what their wands were.

"That was so fun!" Anne squeaked excitedly as she jumped out of the shop. James followed out, still shocked he blew up a flower pot in the store. What do you know, father like son. The two new friends talked and walked about how exciting their new school year will be.

Anne suddenly stopped, she was looking at something. James followed her gaze to see her staring at the Magical Menagerie shop. "Come on!" James smiled as Anne followed him into the shop. There were the weirdest animals Anne has ever seen in the one shop! She didn't know which one to choose! Luckily at Hogwarts, there was a short list of the different types of animals you could get. Anne saw a ginger rabbit, it might have been average, but she loved it. She decided to name it Duchess, it had a royal look to it. James wandered off to the Reptile part of the store. He came across a little blue salamander with yellow dots which he knew was the one, he looked down at his newly bought books for the school year, he decided to call him Newt. The friends smiled at each other after they bought their newly found pets.
