Chapter 10

*WARNING SWEARING*

Anuhea's POV

"Hi Mate."

This 'person' sounded way different than Silas. Silas's voice sounds like he wants to kill someone or somethings, but this voice sounds like all cupcakes and rainbows but with a dark side.

"Hehe hello." That was basically the only thing I have in mind. "So what's your name?"

"My name is Arden mate." He was still smiling while talking to me and whenever he called me 'mate' I kinda felt weird. It's kinda like the good kind of weird but also the uncomfortable kind of weird. He just kept smiling at me and really wanted him to turn into his wolf form right now but for now I want to get to know the some more.

"So tell me Arden. What do you guys do in your free time?"

I felt like Arden was just staring at me but eventually he answered back to me, "Well we just hang around and work out with Caspian and Ambrose. Other than that  we're learning how to take over the pack."

I nodded taking in the information. Then that's when it hits me. "Uhm Arden I really do enjoy this time that I had with you but could I please have Silas back?"

Ardne looked a little sad but he nodded and then closed his eyes. When they opened backed up, I was met once again with those familiar eyes again.

"Are you ok? Is something wrong?" He asked me. I waved my hands 'no' in front of him, "Actually, I just need you to ask you what time is it?". Silas pulled out his phone and clicked on the power button. "It's only 12:32." Damn, I thought to myself. I swear I thought the time was gonna go by faster but no it actually goes by a lot damn slower.

I turned to him, "So what should we do, I can't go back home or else I'll get dirty lickens from my mom." Silas looked at me with a horrified expression plastered on his face. I scoffed at him, "Not those kinds of lickens, you dummy. Over here in, Hawaii we have a thing called pidgin and the word lickens means like ru getting spanked or getting beaten by your parent or someone." Silas still somewhat had an expression on his face.

Silas was quiet for a moment before he spoke again. "So then do you want to come to my house?" I thought about. Me going to his house. His house. Would that be such a bad idea? I mean, he did say that I am his destined mate but am I really? Do i even know if he is telling the truth or not. I thought about it for a little bit more and eventually nodded.

"Ok then, we should get going." He got up and dusted the dirt off the back of his pants. Not gonna lie, I literally stared at his ass and my oh my, that shit actually looks like a good ass. I bet other girls would be jealous of it.

I got up too and felt my whole body jiggle. Some of my insecurities were kicking in but I just pushed them into the back of my mind. Damn.

Silas started walking and I tighten my backpack and started walking after him. Our walk was quiet but the more comfortable quiet. There were a few times where I got scared of the dogs behind the gates because they just be barking out of nowhere. That honestly irritates me. One reason of why I wanted yet not wanted a dog. They always bark. If I were to get a dog, I would want one that knows when to stay quiet.

We kept on walking and walking and it felt like we were walking a marathon or something. Eventually there were less and less houses on the road we were walking. I have never in all my life of living here have seen this side. Everything looked like it belonged in the mainland or something. And I was getting uncomfortable.

"umm Silas?". Silas stopped and turned around towards me, "hmm?"

"Heh, not to sound rude or anything but uhm, are we like almost close to your house?"

"Oh yeah we are, just a little bit more further."

Ok just a little bit more further. I can do this. I hope because my feet were killing me but I don't wanna sound like a nuisance to him.
