While writing an essay, you typically write a rough draft. Sentences turn into paragraphs, and paragraphs turn into a finished product.
In the meanwhile, those sentences are barely legible. You erase, cross out, and rewrite the sentences to make it perfect, to the point it looks like a bunch of words with no structure.
My point? Many see the rough draft as a tunnel before you see the light. I strongly disagree. The rough draft may be messy, illegible, and with no structure, but I think it's beautiful. It is what makes the final draft so amazing; without the rough draft, you could not get the beautifully written essays in this world.
We are like the rough draft. Our imperfections make us human. Though we may be messy, our purpose is what is perfection. We may go through trials, like the rough draft, but we still have a purpose. Everyone has a purpose. And like the beautifully written final draft, we can impact many lives.
So be like the rough draft. Know you have a purpose.
