Being a wandering witch has its disadvantages and advantages.
You can go around without people knowing who you are, you can go around and meet a lot of people with good and amazing reputation, you can use your magic and spells without the townsfolk being suspicious of you.
You can meet a lot of people, make acquaintances and having fun with them, but you could never let yourself get attached to them in any way because you know that their lives won't last long compare to yours.
You're scared of being attached because you know that they'll leave you sooner than you thought.
They'll be there then in the next second, they're gone.
You don't want to experience the same pain over and over again.
"Master. Gitok village is up ahead, do you want to change our appearance?" Pyro looked up at you, his beautiful hazel eyes shining ever so slightly.
You smiled and shook your head, "No. We won't stay long anyways."
You held his small hand with yours and pull him gently beside you as you two went pass through the village gate.
Your (color) orbs stared at the amazingly well built cottages, houses, carts, and wooden stalls around you.
"This place is amazing!" Your familiar squealed beside you, his hand unknowingly tugged your arms as he looked and point around.
"Calm down, kid. We'll take our time to look around later, first, we'll have to look for a place to sleep on." You hummed and pulled the small tiger beside you.
Yes, pyro is a tiger. Your familiar is one of the strong tiger among the familiar rankings.
He never failed to make you proud and happy that's why you love the small guy.
"Excuse me, lady with (color) hair!" You glanced to your right when someone called out to you.
Some of the villagers with the same color hair as yours stopped on what they're doing.
"Ah, it's not you guys!" The black haired, tall man hollered with laughter as he jogged towards you.
You stopped walking and held Pyro's hand a little tighter, making the small guy flinched on his spot.
"M-master- ah.. That hurts.." Pyro whimpered against your hold.
Your attention got taken away from the man by your familiar's whimper, you looked down and saw that he's tearing up whilst your hand is tightening around his wrist.
You quickly let go and kneeled down in front of him, "Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry, pyro!" You panicked and leaned down to kiss his wrists.
Kissing his aching skin always works, you don't know why but Pyro would always request for you to kiss a part of his body when he's hurt, saying that the pain will go away.
Upon feeling your lips on his skin, his eyes stopped tearing up but a quiet sniffled can be hear from him.
"I'm fine now.. You just tightened up a little too much, master." Pyro pouted, puffing his chubby cheeks out as he glanced up at you.
"Hey!—" The two of you looked at the black haired man again.
He finally reached the two of you, he puffed out a deep breath and offered you a smile.
"I'm Kuroo Tetsurou! The owner of the Nekoma inn." You raised a brow at him.
"And?" You rolled your eyes when you saw his shoulders visibly slouched.
"This is why Lev or Yaku should do this kind of job instead.. I'm not good with girls.." He groaned under his breath but you heard him anyways.
"So.." You drawled out making the Kuroo look at you with hopeful gleam in his beautiful amber orbs that seem to resemble a cat eyes.
"You said you're the owner of Nekoma Inn? Can you lead the way? Me and my child right here." You pulled Pyro closer to you to emphasize the 'child'. "Is looking for a place to stay for a while."
Hearing your statement, Kuroo couldn't help but let out a soft laugh.
"Of course! Please follow me." Kuroo held out his hand in front of him as he begun walking away from you.
You and Pyro both shared a look before following the Inn owner that seem to have a bed hair problem.
You two immediately caught up with Kuroo.
A comfortable silence lingered in the air which you appreciate so damn much.
You are tired, using a lot of magicules just to jump in another dimension took a lot of your energy so what you want right now is, food, bath and good night rest.
You blinked rapidly when Kuroo stopped walking.
"We're here, ma'am." He opened the door for you so you walked in with Pyro in your arms.
Three sets of eyes looked into your way and you didn't bother to look at them, you just went straight in the front desk.
"Room for two, madam?" The grey haired man chirped quite cheerfully.
You raised a brow at this and nodded your head, "How much will it cost if I rent a room for a week?"
"The name is Haiba Lev and the cost will be 2 gold coins and four silver coins, with food on the payment as well!" You hummed in acknowledgement at his answer.
You pushed three gold coins towards him which made his smile drop and a frown made its way on his face.
"Madam, this is too-"
"Keep the change. Which room should I go into?" You quickly cut him off by your question.
"Uhh.. Room 13, here's the key.." He reluctantly gave you the bronze key.
You took the key and gave him one last glance, "Thanks." Then you went up the stairs.
"They won't stop looking at you, mama." Pyro stated.
At a time like this, Pyro would call you 'mother', 'mama' or 'mom' once you two got inside the village and you don't mind since it's for your cover anyways.
"Let them look. They can't and won't touch me in any bad way." You replied before slipping the key into the keyhole then the door released a 'cling' sound before it creaked open.
"Well, home sweet temporary home." You muttered as pyro went inside before you.
You closed the door and locked it, not wanting anyone to walk inside.
You just hope that you won't get attached to anyone in this dimension because that would be bad.
