(A/N: Welcome to the last chapter of my steamy Hantake fic. I greatly enjoyed writing this from the start to finish so I hope you readers will also enjoy this too. This marked the end of the first fic for my series collection, 'Fire in My Heart.' There will be upcoming fics for this series soon so watch out for that. Lastly, prepare for the sin and cheesiness in advance for this last chapter. Enjoy the ride while it lasts. Hantake rights everyone?)

Time seemed to drag on that day and Takemichi tried so hard not to glance back at the clock every now and then. Also, he tried to convince himself to not to get too much excited and hopeful for his meeting later with Hanma. For sure, the guy just wanted to get on his good graces since he knew he fucked up big time and that he didn't want him to kick him out of the dorm.

And...

"It's not a date Chifuyu." Takemichi huffed in annoyance, trying to convince his best friend in not putting too much meaning into what he told him earlier that day during their classroom lunch break.

"Are you trying to convince me partner or yourself?" Chifuyu snickered as he forked the sliced ham on his lunchbox and ate it leisurely.

"Don't even start on that Chifuyu." He groaned out in defeat. "You've had too much romance shit going on inside your brain because of that mangas you've been reading."

"It's pretty damn obvious partner." He pointed out. "Like this is Hanma we're talking about. Hanma. He didn't do this kind shit to any other people. And for him to go out of his way to do all these things for you? Trust me, he likes you. Very, very much." Chifuyu added emphatically.

"Whatever. Still not buying into that shit." Takemichi rolled his eyes but Chifuyu's words rang inside his head.

"You're pretty damn hopeless in this department partner. Why do these kinds of things are happening to you and not to me?" Chifuyu groaned out and his head fell down on the desk with a thud.

Takemichi shook his head and just finished eating his lunch. "Oi. Try to finish your lunch now. Research and Statistics subject will come up soon. You know how our professor hated late comers." His voice was muffled by the food on his mouth.

Takemichi tried not to be distracted throughout the day and focused more on his studies even though the excitement on his heart at his upcoming meeting later with Hanma grew larger at each moment passed by.

Bustling crowd colored the streets of the city as Takemichi walked down the path going to the ice cream parlor where he and Hanma were supposed to meet that day. His classes ended at 5:30PM and the orangey skies spread throughout the city signaling that dusk was going to envelop the skies soon.

Since it was still a rush hour period, people were still clamoring across the streets and the stores, most of them were employees and students who came from work and school eager to get into a bus to go home or just eat at someplace after the long grueling hours of being an employee or a student.

Takemichi was already walking along the street and was fiddling with the straps of his bag when he paused midway and blinked a few times.

The familiar sight of that golden black hair and tall, lean frame that was leaning against the side of the ice cream store with his hands on his pockets made him stare openly.

Was that Hanma?

His heart started to hammer loudly inside his chest at the sight of him. He wasn't expecting him to be early and was already there before him. He was thinking previously that he had to wait for a few hours in their meeting place.
