Acceptace [REKI X LANGA]

Chapter 1

Reki's POV

Langa and I had been friends, just friends for a year now. I still vividly remember when I first interacted with him in front of Cherry's shop. I wonder what I'd be doing if that didn't happen, would I still have this blue haired boy sleeping on my lap?

Langa started moving slowly, groaning softly, waking up from his nap and finding himself on my lap in the skate park. "Um- Sorry" was his first words after the nap. I questioned him, "What are you talking about?". "I literally fell asleep on your lap while eating our bentos!", he said blushing. How can someone be so pretty? I thought. "It's okay! In Fact it felt........good". Oh boy! Why'd I say that? I hope my face didn't turn red. "Huh-?", Langa gave me a confused look.

Langa's POV

I decided to play dumb, why is he being so obvious? I got up and changed the topic, "It's late, let's go home". Reki nodded. We slowly skated our way back home. "Oh look! The sky looks so blue today. Your hair matches it", Reki said smiling brightly whilst looking into my eyes. Fuck! That was smooth like butter, how can he! How am I supposed to respond to that? "Um- ye-ah" was all I could say. "Tomorrow is Sunday, let's skate the entire afternoon, shall we?", Reki said that while we were about to part our way. I stopped skating and nodded, like sure an indirect date.

Reki"s POV

WAIT!!! Is that an ice cream truck? "LOOK! LANGA! AN ICECREAM TRUCK" I shouted. "You wanna eat ice cream?" Langa asked me. "Hell Yeah!!!". We both ended up getting ice cream. I got a butterscotch cone and Langa got a vanilla scoop. "Um- Reki", langa startled me. "Yea" , I responded "Have you ever dated someone?". Wow! This person is unpredictable. "Er...yea...once in middle school with this randomass girl, it lasted for like a week. What about you?". "I've never dated anyone. I rejected a lot though", Langa answered my question. He's in demand. I should hurry up before anyone- What am I even thinking about, we're best friends. I can't ruin this friendship. "Oooo, why'd you reject them?"I was curious. "I don't know, I have this person I like but it's kinda hard for me to accept it", Langa said with a straight face. And that person is obviously not me. "I know how that feels' ', I exchange in response cause it really is hard to accept that I perhaps like my best friend.

*TIME SKIP TO HOME*

I was lost with my thoughts. Who's that person Langa likes? Obviously not me. And what does he mean "hard to accept?". Maybe, I should try confessing. But how can I do that in such a way that it doesn't ruin our friendship? It's hard being in love. WAIT! AM IN LOVE WITH MY BEST FRIEND?
