While riding the waves I meet a girl named Maren. I hitch a ride with her. "So, Xavier what are you doing all the way out here?"

"On my way to challenge the Kumquat Island Gym then challenge Drake."

"Good luck because that's not an easy battle. We have an hour to the next island, I would get comfortable."

"Alright everyone come on out." I call out everyone and allow them to play until we get close to the next island. Everything was going great till Lumi ran to the front of the boat. "There is a storm rolling in hold on."

"Everyone come on back." Recalling everyone into their Pokeball's Maren and Prism hold onto me while I hold onto the railing of the boat. We sail through the storm and soon it calms down to small waves. "We are way off course."

"Do you know where we are at?"

"That is Shamouti Island. We are in the middle of the Orange Islands."

"Let's land until the storm passes."

"Sounds good." Landing on the island people in bird like costumes approach. "Maren how are you? It's been awhile." The person takes off their mask and reveals a girl with short brown hair.

"Carl I can't believe it. It's great to see you."

"What are you doing back on Shamouti Island."

"We got caught up in that storm and floated in and looks like we got here at the perfect time."

"You're right. The annual legend festival starts today."

"This is my favorite island holiday. Are you going to be the star of the show again?"

"No, I'm too old to be the festival maiden anymore. So this year my little sister is going to take over for me. Wonder where see could be."

"I'm right here." Near the stone ledge another girl in normal clothing stood. With brown hair like her sister but longer and wore sunglasses. "The only one not wearing some stupid costumes. You would think after a few centuries you would have out grown this dorky ritual."

"It's our tradition. You should be honored to take part."

"Don't worry. I'll play my role in the big legend. I've only seen you do it like a zillion times."

"Just be there. Well unfourtanlty that's my little sister her name is Melody, but don't get fouled she is not always this adorable. Who's this?" Carl turns her attention to me.

"Oh, sorry this is Xavier Loveless. He's a Pokemon trainer."

"Pokemon trainer," everyone started to cheer as soon as Maren said that. Then some else in a blue colored bird type costume walked up. "The ancient legend for tells your arrival and only with you can the guardian of the waters vanquish the titans of fire, ice, and lighting. In your hands. Oh, Chosen One. In your hands rest the world and its fate."

"Its does?" He is a little to close for comfort. "Hehe. Don't let worry ya kid. It's just for the tourist." Melody then showed up beside her sister. "So your a Pokemon trainer huh. Hmm. I guess he'll do. Here your traditional welcome kiss." She then kissed me on the check before I could say something. "We have found our Chosen One." They lead me to the festivals main banquet and I sit at an empty table. Maren and Prism gathered around my feet, then Melody but dressed in an old style dress and veil with a ring of flowers on her head appeared on the stage and played a beautiful melody. Maybe I could learn how to play that. Once done she jumped down and came over to my table. "Hear ye all, from the trio of islands. Ancient spheres shall you take for between life and death all the difference you'll make. Oh, Chosen One you must climb into the shrine to right what is wrong and the world will be healed by the guardian song."
