Flashback to the second to last day of school*
I drag my feet up the stairs to my second block class, honors English Monday classes are definitely the worst days. I'm happy that we get to watch movies all day since this is the second to last day of school, tomorrow we'll just go to the park. I must have zoned out because my teacher Mr. Miller is telling me to go to the principle's office. I really don't worry when I go down there anymore because most times Mr. White (the principle) is checking to see on how I'm doing, but this time was different. I go into his office and there are a few people sitting down around a table in the middle of the room. His room is fairly big so it can fit a big round table and chairs in it along with a coach and desk. There's the principle, guidance counselor, a male cop, my basketball coach and me Just my luck I'm in a room full of guys older than me with the door shut. I'm instructed to sit down, I do just because I don't feel like giving them crap for it. The cop informs me that he is there because the school called the police regarding my rape. The cop started asking me questions, I immediately just wanted to crawl into a hole and die. I didn't reply to any of his questions, I just sat there without saying a word. My principle started to ask me the same questions that the police officer had asked me, I got up and ran out of his office and to my locker. I grabbed the only two things left in my locker, my phone and backpack then ran out of the school. I ran halfway home before slowing down to a walk. I get home, change into my workout stuff and leave for the creek. I'm happy that it's May now because its 85 degrees out, perfect running weather. I take off towards the creek, its my favorite place to go when everything seems to be falling apart. It feels good to run, its like all my problems disappear when I'm running. I finally arrive at the creek. I sit down at the edge of the bank, just admiring the beautiful fields beyond the creek and the crisp water flowing underneath my sweaty feet. I realize that its getting late and I'd better get home since tomorrow is the last day of my junior year and I need to get some rest. My parents never worry when I'm gone for awhile because they know that I'm out running or at the creek so they don't mind when I'm home a little later than normal. I get home in 15 minutes and dinner is already waiting for me, my favorite Roman noodles. My last day of school was boring, the whole school went to the park near the school, most people either hung out with their friends or played sports. I was just happy to spend the last day of school with my awesome friends and amazing boyfriend.
