I'm Rayne Elizabeth Green I'm 16 years old an a junior at Chesterton High School or CHS. I have long blonde hair an soft blue eyes. I live with my dad James Green, an my dog Aspen. We have a mid-sized house with a fenced in yard an a small garden out back. My mother died of cancer when I was 13, my dad has never been the same. He works all the time and is never
home but when he is home he is very strict, some would say he's just over protective, but sometimes I think he gets carried away.
*FLASH BACK*

"Hey dad, I was wondering if I could go to the movies" I asked timidly

"Who are you going with?" He questioned suspiciously

"Just violet an amber" I answer

"Sure you are, your probably going with a boy" he accuses

I scoff softly "Seriously.. I thought you knew me better then that, I don't lie."

My dads eyes soften as he holds his head in shame "I know, I'm sorry, you can go. Just be back by 10" he sighs

*END OF FLASHBLACK*

Violet and Amber are my two best friends. No, I don't favor one they are both equal in my eyes. We do almost everything together. I don't know what I would do without my best friends. We met in the most peculiarly way, I will never forget that day.

*FLASHBACK TO 8TH GRADE*

I wander around the cafeteria searching for a place to sit.
I spot an empty chair at a table, the table consisted of a bunch of preppy, pretty girls, but I decide to give it a shot. I begin to sit down when I hear something that sounded like a scoff, I looked up shyly.
"What do you think your doing?" Says the main girl
"I'm sorry, is this seat taken?" I ask confused
"No it's not, but I would never let someone as ugly as you sit with someone as pretty as me" she says laughing
Soon all her friends joined
I felt tears prick my eyes as I stand straight up.
"Id rather be ugly then have an ugly heart like you" I say with shaky lips as I turn an storm away holding back the tears. As I'm walking out I felt someone grasp my wrist, I look down to see a girl my age with pretty green eyes an brown hair. I looked at her confused.
"You can sit with us" she says softly looking across the table at another pretty girl with green eyes an really thick brown hair.
I let out a sigh an smile at them sitting down.
The girl who grabbed me smiles an says "I'm Violet, an this is Amber" she says looking at the other girl.
I smile at them both "I'm Rayne" I say softly.
