Broken Game

The qaurter back

Tomorrow is the first day back after spring break. I lay on the floor in my bedroom humming to the song "Fix a Heart" By Demi Lovato. Some say I'm spoiled, an I agree, I do have lots of nice things but I don't have everything. My most prized possession is my husky Aspen. She is a pure white husky with blue eyes. She was a gift from my dad. He read online that an animal can help with the depression from the lost of a loved one so when I seen Aspen, he an I both knew I had to have her. Next to Violet and Amber, Aspen is my only true friend.

I sigh out of boredom, I suddenly feel something wet on my toes, I giggle looking down to see Aspen licking my toes. I smile "Wanna go for a walk?" I ask cheerfully
Aspen barks in joy. I laugh grabbing the leash an my shoes.
"Okay, let's go!" I say clipping her leash on.
When we get outside I begin a steady walk toward the dog friendly park that is a couple blocks away. As I'm walking I look down at my phone texting Amber
Amber: Got new shoes! They are amazing!
Me: don't you have enough shoes?
Amber: You can never have enough shoes ;).

I begin to type "Yeah, except you"
When suddenly someone shoved me an I've landed on my butt in the grass.

"What the hell?" I yell looking up
I gasp softy seeing the cutest guy ever.
My jaw drops as I notice he has no shirt on, I begin to check him out against my will noticing his blonde hair an green sparkly eyes. I snap out of it blushing. I notice he was holding his hand out an I take it getting up.
"Sorry about that" he says holding a football that he must have been catching when he ran into me
"Oh it's fine" I say brushing my pants off an fixing Aspens leash.
"Nice dog. Husky?" He asks looking at Aspen
"Yeah. She's great" I say petting her
"Have I seen you before?" He asks suddenly
"Oh yeah, I go to your school, your the quarter back Zach. My names Rayne." I say holding my hand out
"Oh you hang out with Violet an Amber" he says smiling

"Yeah that's me" I say awkwardly"
He smiles bending down picking up my phone that I must have dropped. He clicks a bunch of buttons, takes a selfie then gives it back to me.
I look at my phone seeing he put his number in and blush.
"Thanks, see you around?" I say hurriedly
"Yeah text me sometime" he says winking
With that I walk away blushing madly.
After the park I go home an eat the Chinese leftovers from yesterday an take a shower.
I lay down thinking about Zach an sighing. Next thing I know I'm dreaming of a shirtless Zach.
